"Motivation and the power of not giving up"

Have you ever set a goal for yourself, like getting fit, making honor roll, or being picked for a team? Like lots of people, maybe you started out doing great, but then lost some of that drive and had trouble getting motivated again.

You're not alone

Everyone struggle with staying motivated and reaching their goals.
Just look at how many people go on diets, lose weight, and then gain it back again.

The reality is that refocusing, changing, or making a new start on something, on matter how small, is a big deal. But it's not impossible. With the right approach, you can definitely do it.

Thank for reading...../thx

your will and strength gives you the motivation. Some of you guys here may not have a long-term dream yet, but you must think about what you want to do in the future. Granted, what you want may not actually come true in life, but having nothing to chase after makes your life wasteful. You only have one life, live it to the fullest. Stumble and fall if you must, but remember to pick yourself up. I myself have changed my dreams constantly, and at some point think that I will not attain it. Nevertheless, the human spirit is unbelievably tough and even science cannot explain it. We are made to have dreams, if not, I believe that it would make us less human. Do not degenerate yourself into a mindless robot in society and just go with the flow of modern life.

I make a goal this year since I am now a 4th year student and this is my last year in highschool. I set my goal to reach top 5 in our honor roll. I am now in rank 4. It is hard to maintain it since I lack of motivation and study habits. I just motivate myself by saying that I will earn chances that my crush will like me also. LOL. Sometimes I also bargain with my parents.

If there's life, there's hope ...

U won't just give up because of problems ...

try to ask urself, Do I only gone this far in this moment?

I still have some things to fix and to achieve. ..

I can't afford losing easily ... it's not in my dictionary ... :D

anyhow, I'm in honor roll ...

2nd honor in classroom and 2nd honor in all 4th yr lvl ... that was in 2nd grading ..

in first grading, I was the first of both classroom and 4th yr lvl ... well it's okay ...

There's still 3rd grading and 4th ... I will do my hardest to make it to the top ... (pleasingly hoping)

Thanks for this!

I totally understand. Last year, during my junior year, I was definitely motivated to get high marks! I was aiming for high 80s and making sure I'd keep my image of being the smart girl! (lmao) But I lost my motivation when my marks dropped at one point and I just gave up all together. In the end, I still made honour roll and was still seen to be one of the smart girls in the grade but my aim was to be in the higher ups.

I guess the lesson is shoot for the moon because even if you miss, you'll still fall among the stars! (*lactose... intolerant... too... cheesy!*)

i believe in the saying "JUST GO WITH THE FLOW" haha^^ you don't need to plan all the things in your life... it will make your life more complex... just let it go with the flow and see what will happen if there is anything bad will happen, just act naturally and think only the way you can solve on the current situation...^^

Are you Naruto in disguise??? hahaha

Great job in reminding us the source for our cause to everything we do or else our goals will just slip away without us even noticing it.
I can see that everyone here is aware of it as well.
