i love this game.

1st started playing american version monster hunter freedom but i got 2g when
translated patches were available.

hr9.

currently trying to complete red fatalis set. (need damn red fatalis wont give me after 2 kills now... normal fatalis was easier T.T i use either dual swords to fight with full red cenetaur set, i break his head on the 1st fight with a hammer though. tried using gs but full charge bounced off ^^ (wasnt using cenetaur then).)

i stopped temporarily though coz i need new memory stick ^^ my file keeps getting corrupted but i at least have backup.

i think formatting will fix it,but harddrive sould be partitioned..for the virus and for your savedata

your mission in the game is to beat everything ^^. well there is no plot you just have to play and kill stuff. its pretty simple but i like it. btw i just buy the meat and have my cats cook it. try downloading 2g from pspiso.com, then go look for english patches.

in this game you have to get better to advance to higher ranks. get better at using weapons. you have to remember monster movesets and how to counter them (you get to learn this by fighting them a lot of times, bah even i have problems with tigrex... i can only find 1 instance to get a lvl3 charge on the head with a gs and thats when he dives after a charge.. wont work in rage mode though huhuhu) its pretty much hit and avoid getting hit on this game (armor wont matter on high lvls coz your pretty much 1 hit anything on hr8-9 unless you have 600+ def and that will leave you very little life after a hit ^^)

you get used to fighting sooner or later ^^, i have no problems killing any rathalos/rathian variant without getting hit ^^ and akantor is pretty easy for me now ( i use azure ogre sword and cenetaur s gemmed up to get artisan, and quake res), with my little brother ( 8 yrs old and is way better than me ) we can kill akantor in 10 mins ( 8mins something was our record). the only monsters i hate are plesioth(too damn big and keeps going to the water) naruga kuruga(stop jumping) and tigrex.


monster hunter unite is practically an english version of 2g ^^ but maybe ill stick with 2g coz its not certain if unite has the download missions 2g has.

oh n the problem was with my memory stick, formatting it didnt help. it was defective , i bought a new 8gig stick n its working fine ^^ but i found out my save file was an old one T.T i lost my red fatalis set... the skills arnt that good but it was hard just getting the armor. i also lost my red cenetaur armor and my ultimus heaven and earth, my 5 lao shan rubies and all hr8 blos armors (collected them for the challenge, damn i want my devil blos set back...)

Yea, it's called Monster Hunter Frontier, though it's japan only I think.
