If you haven't gathered already, life sucks. Life is never fair and you can never seem to accomplish what you've set out to do. Like right now, I'm trying to find a simple non-salivating smiley but all I get is a freaking monkey looking at me with a questionable look.

So I've decided to create a little rant box, where I can vent my frustrations on unsuspecting little otakus, without the repercussions of having someone I personally know ratting me out. (That said, if Solid does, he'll suffer hell) In all reality though, my real goal is to rage enough to convince the community that being around an insane kid like me is detrimental to their health, and thus quit.

Life sucks.

So I already made that point, but who cares?

I just got a letter from National Society Of High School Scholars. They tell me I've been doing a good job in school. Kool, I have a freaking 3.561. That effectively puts me in the exact 50% of my school, not exactly a honor. To top that off, its a scam, and not a real legit thing. So, they're trying to take my money, rubbing it in my face that I fail at life, and getting my hopes up about actually participating in the coveted NHS (National Honors Society).
A crippling blow to my self-esteem, indeed.

Speaking of academics, it would seem as if my sister has no skill in that. Shes going to college, sure, but she doesn't even know what shes going to major. She wants to be an editor (no job market), but applied for mostly science majors. Really now, she's the dumbest person in my life. She wants to go to one school and one school only: UT and Austin. Why?
Because that's where her boyfriend is. Boyfriend who's convinced her that all she wants to be is a housewife, and that he'll take care of her. I'll laugh my ass off when they break up, because she'll be utterly screwed over.
I mean seriously, if you don't aspire to be anything, don't waste 4 years of your life and your family's money; give it to me.

Oh wow!!!! You sure were having a bad day!!!

If you want to rant - then listen to mine. Every year for exactly 4-5 days we close everything for New Year hols and its the only time of the year we are not expected to read our mails or be on call. But this year, the holiday is not over and I just downloaded my mails today even though its still vacation, and there were 152 mails - of which 86 that needs replying.

There were some bloody jackasses who even re-sent their mails demanding an answer (altho I had a clear out of office automated reply) and some even saying they were trying to call me to get a reply (I had switched off my mobile) and to pls call back 'urgently'!!!!

Does no one understand the meaning of the words "New Year holidays / We will be closed / We will not be contactable" ?????

Man, that really sucks. I hope when I get a job, stuff like that won't happen. Look at my dad, both his parents were hospitalized and his company bitches to him about needing to do more business trips when hes in Taiwan trying to see what could possibly be their last moments.

On a side note, new years hols till April xD?

So I thought that my life had hit rock bottom, for now...

So duh, God goes to prove me wrong, starting at 7:30 in the morning. How so? In form of ROAD CONSTRUCTION RIGHT OUTSIDE OF MY HOUSE. Now look here, I live in a suburb, not some stupid city. Why are you drilling a hole in front of my house at 7:30 AM? I'll admit, the bulldozer was pretty cool, but they could've waited till later.

Waking up and knowing it was one of those days, I head off to school. Promptly in second period, we get assigned a CAP project for English. Whoop-de-doo, I've got a bunch of crap people in my group. That said, it's effectively me doing the whole thing.

Third period wasn't any better. A fire drill takes like 10 minutes off my quiz, which I end up not finishing. Kool, at least lunch didn't suck.

I get to Orchestra and we even get bribes in the form of candy from people running of officer spots. God, seeing my delight, set out to destroy it. This annoying kid named Jason decided to tell a girl that I said was "okay" that I liked her. Thats fine with me, sans two important facts; one, it's a running joke amongst a group of my friends that I'm gay, thus contradicting themselves, and two, I already have a girlfriend.

So running through my mind for the rest of the day was how to tell her it was all a joke.
Figures that the only joke was the joke my friends pulled on me.
