Well I'll be honest, I wouldn't think a girl would really lie she was one... I see guys lieing their girls... They probably were trying to get a rise out of you (pissing you off) because they thought it'd be funny. Or believe girls don't ever play video games...

However, when I'm X-Box LIVE little kids who are young sound like girls, Because the Mic for the X-box is crap.

I know that has nothing to do with it just it popped in my mind

Since I'm a boy, believe me when I say I'd wager a lot of boys are just plain stupid, no doubt about that. Not all of them. There are some ones out there (I don't claim to be smart, but I wouldn't lump myself with those idiots, either), you just gotta find em.

We guys are very direct when it comes to teasing and fights even when it comes to chatting online and such.
Since your a girl and being accused as being a dude you should try changing the way you do things online or in the chat, even if its only for a short time so they can be convinced.

Just like the previous posted stated... We guys are 'stupid' (baka)..

~ Although, just be yourself and if they still don't accept you ditch them and find new online friends.

There are a ton more boys/guys that are stupid, idiotic, jerks, etc. than there are decent ones when they get online as well as in real life. But especially when they get online because they don't have to deal with someone face to face who would put the smack down on them. Like Ghost and others have said, is best to just ignore them and move on and don't try to prove yourself.

hmm...to be honest many guys actually pretending they are girls...my friend is one of those...

so if we encounter a "girl gamer" we think he is a guy prentending to be a girl...

some of these guys have a fake "girl accounts" in some social networking account (facebook,friendster etc..) to cover their lies...

When i play a game which is a casual game and i have this girl char of course cause im a girl but one day some fudging boy really insisted that im a gay and they want me to prove it. i prove it by cam with them and even insisted that im a boy. dammit this pisses me off and not chatted with them. First, it's just that you're playing an online game that's why he insisted that you are a boy.. in online gamers mind for them only boys are playing online games and it's very rare to see a real girl playing them, and if they say they we're a girl they will not believe in it.. do u rmember MMORPG - many men online role playing girls..

Second , he don't want to accept his mistakes because of the so called "Pride"

Uh...a bit late of a response really....but. It could be any number of reasons....an one of 'em is...*Adult Rated* And cannot be announced.

Guys are stupid, but so are women. Guys are insensitive, girls are too.

When I play MMORPG's...I usually use a mixture of male and Female characters. Female because...well I like looking at women...even in avatar form. It's natural. I do admit that I am male. However the one explanation I can see, most common, is that he is a "Troll" Just trying to make you get angry, and get a reaction. It's childish, and irritating.

most boys that plays MMO games are just either stupid or they have experience of fake girls. by fake girls its a boy playing a female avatar some of those stupid player are so.. i have a lot of gaming friends that are really girls and got alot of that kind of experience so if i were u just ignore them and enjoy the game since that's the reason why you played it in the first place not just to prove your a girl or something... just don't let those stupid "players" get into ur nerve ignore them and just look for another player who will not judge you via avatar and pester you with questions etc :P

When your playing games online with other people, sometime in your experiences you will get targeted by a bully.

The best way to deal with that is,

Don't react: Even though you really want to prove them wrong with there false and hurtful accusations, do not do it. Most people will give up if they don't get a reaction out of you.

As for the second question, no, not all boys are like that. There quite a bit of nice guys in the world. Just remember, you do not have to prove anything to them.

there ARE guys that use female characters in games, but their reasoning is different. take me for example, I will make a female character in a game, such as the MMORPG City of Heroes. I have female characters because I like character creation, and they have a TON of different costume parts :D I ALSO have male characters as well :goodjob:
