virtual reality anime 4D game...

With the emergence of technological advances, 2D anime games are now available for nintendo DS, PS3, Xbox, etc....

but what if...there are 4D glasses for gaming, which, upon being worn, would project well-defined realistic scenes of the actual anime setting(first person point of view), along with finely detailed characters. (you know it's not impossible).
If there is, what would you want?

a. a dating simulation game: dc da capo, school days, ouran
b. samurai shounen: bleach, samurai champloo, rurouni kenshin
c. fist/hand combat: naruto, hajime no ippo, avatar
d. battle of wits: code geass, death note, spiral

i want a simulation game of vampire knight or nana.... id go for zero and takumi!!!

you do realize the 4D just means time is included, time is the 4th dimension
This just means you can't pause the game, like Travian or other online games where the game never stops

theres been games in amusement parks where you wear a helmet and its a virtual world (5-10 years ago...)

its nothing new but it simply costs too much for the general public

If there will be such a game that will exist(sure it will)
it is not just a simple glasses that will be worn.
to satisfy to a real virtual world, your mind and body must experience it
(but not pain duh!) it would be a larger scale than a mere glasses.
like if you ware those glasses you must have a platform to stand upon
so you can walk freely and don't bump on walls or walk on roads.
just think of it you are playing a virtual game in your room that has a laundry shoot that you can fit in.
hmm.... what could happen?
A. you will fall and die?
B. there is magical world down there?

All of the above. Like darkpoetry said there are technologies available already but they are too expensive for the general public. I remember going to an amusement park a few years back and went to this virtual set that was available. You put on a helmet and they guided you through this medieval-esc world where you had to fight a dragon and some other stuff.. the hostess was pretty cute so I stuck around for a few hours. I am looking forward to the advances in technology that will be available to the general public in the coming years.. that is if our civilization does not collapse and anarchy breaks free. We will see.

Ignoring the logistics, tehnicalities and the impossibilities involved... If there was a game where you were "in it" virtually, I'd feel unsafe or freaked out having to do combat or something like that, which would leave a dating sim game or a mind game-- preferably the latter.

Actually, this is good imput for me. I may be a woman, but I do play a lot of dating/eroge sims that catch my attention. In that instance, I've been meeting with friends on making one (mostly in the same instance as TYPE-MOON has done with Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night) that is both sim and fighting game. It's a slow progression but it's getting done.

I will go for A and B. Wow a 4d dating simulation game just like Visual Novel. I want to be the protagonist, this will be a dream come true.

.the trick behind 3D screening is just to trick your eyes/brain..
..to let the left eye see one picture..
...and the right eye an other picture..
....but ofcourse not at the same time..

........or faster..
.........not that sure anymore..
so after that said..
.if someone could hack such a wearable screen..
..to work like that..
...he could theoreticlaly..
....make it in to a 3d screen..
.....but the device has to be at least 120 Hz fast..
