I want to be a Therapist since it pays well, and it seems rather safe.

I dread a job where I have to sit in a cubicle.

Currently I'm on the path of a Civil Engineer.... but if that doesnt work theres always Mechanical engineering...... and if that doesnt work theres always medicine XD
becuase you know..... doctors/nurses are always in short supply.... and its not like people will stop being sick/hurt all of a sudden.
I just don't want a position thats the head of something. I can't take that kinda stuff ><

As of right now, I'm looking into Health Sciences and Kinesiology. For the first year of college I plan to go 100% into powerlifting, and after I hit some of my goals, I will keep PL, but also obtain my personal trainers card. I will probably then become something close to a physical therapist that helps rehabilitation in hospitals while personal training and powerlifting on the side.

I work in the Apparel Manufacturing industry and its my second choice. My first would have teaching but its only viable if you are the second income earner in your home, as it doesnt pay enough.
My mum was a dress-maker and my father ran a Tea Plantation - now that was the perfect life if luxury.
I do not want to work like this forever and would love to be able to do something that would support me and let me stay home ... like writing, but dont think anyone wants to read my writings ... hhahaha

Well currently I am a culinary student and I hope to one day own my own resturant. The idea of working an office job scares me to no end so I can't do my dad's job and I hate children so I'd never be able to do my mother's job.

Well I plan to go join the NUPOC (NUclear Propulsion Officer Canidate program) after college to help pay for college and as a way to the join the US navy as an officer. That job title would be a 'Engineer Officer of the Watch'. Once i am done doing that, I figure I will be able to work for any nuclear power plant I want to becuase a experience dealing with nuclear subs is second to none.
I don't want to not graduate college. Engineering is tough but I think I really would like it.

im starting college next year to major in chemistry and lead into pharmacy, so hopefully i'll be working in a lab or something after and even during college to make some money! lol also, a dream that I have is to play my oboe in a symphony orchestra somewhere :)

I'm in heavy inner conflict over all of this... you see, it's time for me to apply for colleges and universities but I have not made any decisions. My current and most likely majors looks like they will be Music maor, (music ed, music theory, vocal performance, )Theater major, (musical theater, drama teacher, talent scout, teacher, director) English (teacher, writer, editor) German (teacher, historian) or something way out in the wings I have no experience in, like. Pharmacy. or advertisement.

Obviously, I have no steady job but rather I have auditions and compete for little things all around my city.

Hm.

I guess, being a simple man with simple tastes, any job that pays enough that I can have my own little apartment to myself and still have some money on the side to have fun with would work for me. But if you really want me to shoot high here: Probably a writer. I have some nice stories in my head that I wanted to make comics of, but I don't have the patience to draw them out, so I'm considering writing them novel style instead. I'm just worried of my writing skills, which are not of the highest quality.

I do not want to be a graphic designer because even though I am artistic, a graphic designer isn't even about the art I like. It's like designing book covers, cereal boxes, billboards and logos, which I find monotonous drudgery. This is ironic because I have a degree in this. I only realized what it was all about after I was too far into the program to change my mind.

My mom is a stay at home mom who occasionally works down at the docks as one of the cleaning crew. She homeschooled me and my three brothers (still working on that youngest one), which is a full-time job enough, in my opinion.

My dad is currently a boat mechanic down at the docks, but he used to be a car mechanic and even owned his own shop before we moved north. I'm kinda interested in mechanical work nowadays, but I wouldn't want to learn from him. He kinda frightens me at times, and I'd have to catch and commit everything to memory first time. He's a little impatient. >.>

In retrospect, I'm long winded enough to be a writer. I just can't stop when my fingers start flying, huh?

I want to become a lot of things. And I'm glad I want to! I want to either become a writer, a teacher, a child psychologist, a counsellor, or a hair dresser. I loooove creative writing so getting my PhD in Creative Writing is a huuuge dream.
