How many of you have this? You know... Some sort of disorder... well... a pretty beneficial disorder... That actually heals the body too fast or something like that... As for me... This happens a lot... I try my best to always harm myself in a way that something bad will happen to me in the next few hours...
But then, even though I beat my hypocritical nature, My Insanse Immune System acts up...
My Insane Immune system can...
-Heal a burnt tongue in 2-3 days
That is shorter than normal right?
-Prevent Sugar and Caffine poisoning
Yes, no matter how many cans of coke (with sugar) I drink, up to the point of only satisfying my thirst, I never got that feeling of Weakness, Obscurity, Nervousness or even Hyperactiveness after so many cans of Coke. That story about the 8 cans of coke death thing... bah... I had 12 and I didn't die! Boo yeah!
-Prevent Salt poisoning
I always put salt in my food. If it's food meant to be salty, I always put some extra. Especially when the meal is served with soup and a mixing meal (Tuna, CornBeef, GroundBeef, SPAM). And yeah... I've been doing so for 7 years now... I've not grown any fatter, nor any thinner... I'm still alive
And the best of the best...!
-Prevent Stomach Failures
Don't get me wrong, I know how to make my own Stomach Fail. I clog up my stomach with air and make gastric juices come out even when there's no food, thus giving uneccessary acids to the body, which forces me to throw up. But it doesn't work anymore (Probably because I do that often O_O). Now, after drinking 3 cans of coke, I recklessly took some Mentos Mint from the guy behind me. After the lecture, the guys noticed this... And I told them, "Fine, I won't be here tommorow." While smiling. But then I appeared, I was perfectly fine and I didn't suffer anything. Not even a little bit of pain, not even a urinal disorder.
HOWEVER!
-Immune system is bad a curing sprains
Sprains go away after AT LEAST one day now right? Unless of course It's a very serious sprain. But for me, minor sprains usually takes a week to heal, Sure I can walk right, but if you make me run or march, I'll fall!
You guys have something like this as well?

I guess you made high tolerance upon drinking coke, that's insane men 12 cans? I can't barely make 2... As for the burnt tongue, same here... But the salt thing, I hate adding more salt to my meal, or should I say I'm scared, because it may damage my kidneys. Better be safe than sorry

Mine isn't as insane as yours, I'm just kind of immune to colds and any of its variations. I get a cold like once or twice a year and i call it system update lol...

WHOEVER told you that eating mentos after drinking coke is dangerous needs to be punched. in the face. three times.
It is indeed true that if you put mentos into a coke bottle, that the coke will gush out like a fountain but if you do it like you described, your stomach (not just your stomach, every stomach on the world) will disintegrate the mentos, so it cant react with the coke, AND the coke isnt even like that anymore because it mixes with the stomach acid and looses its certain attributes to react with the mentos. Furthermore that mentos+coke thingy is actually working even better with diet coke, and i guess you drank normal coke.

I drink a few pots of hot coffee daily, as well as lots of hot tea.. burnt tongue? I don't know if it is possible anymore. No matter how hot the drink is, I can chug it down. As well as a caffeine high.. doesn't happen. I can chug a pot of coffee and sleep like a baby.
Strong bones and a high tolerance to pain. Being abused as a child, head bashed in with concrete blocks, chairs, re-bar, steel beams and the like, have left me with not only a very high tolerance to pain, but you can punch me over and over and i'll just laugh. Not only that, I have a habit of punching trees and brick walls. Even with a fractured fist, doesn't phase me. I also suffered from a large kidney stone for over 6 years. It was very painful yet I still worked, despite urinating chunks of kidney and blood (graphic, I know), I was still able to walk around and do what I had to do. Its all better now though so no worries.
I don't really get sick. I can't remember the last time I have had a viral illness.
My laid back and relaxed nature leave me with being able to cope with allergies very well. Even though I am supposedly highly allergic to almost every pollen and animal on the planet, I love the woods and I love animals and am always around them with very little to no side effects. Maybe an itchy eye or a runny nose that does not last very long.
I can also eat raw or undercooked meat with no problems... might leave me a little gassy though.
Not having an easy and cushy life has left me hardened and able to endure a lot. ^^
Most of this doesn't have to do with the immune system.. and it might not be insane, though they are unique attributes I have acquired through life.

None of anything you said was anything special and a lot of it was misinformed. Also, just so you know; your immune system is what protects you from DISEASE AND BACTERIA.
It has nothing to do with burns, how much salt you eat, caffeine/sugar you consume, or sprains.
burns go away in 2-3 days usually in general unless you burned it so bad you had to go to the hospital.
and coke and mentos does nothing as already explained by the guy before me.
In sum, no...none of that is special nor does it have to do with your immune system.
that isnt enough salt to make you sick.
I used to drink coke like I breathed; its nothing special to be able to drink alot.

My brother drinks practically nothing but coke and was in the hospital for sodium deficiency, almost died from it. Yet he still drinks tons of coke.

So... If I said this...
-Prevtion from Air-borne Viral infection
So pretty much everyone from class got a High Fever along with the Flu... BUT STILL CAME TO CLASS... maybe 2-3 people stayed at home... Now these people were heavily breathing and all that... even the teachers didn't dare enter the classroom. Only me and two other guys didn't get infected, we even spoke a bit with our classmates, and we even endured all that spit and snot coming out when the speak due to Wheezing and Coughing
How's that?

An insane immune system... lets see......???
I don't think that I have any of that. Or maybe I do but I'm just not aware of it yet.

I'd want that kind of immune system, in that case I wouldn't have to worry about getting poison gases.

Regarding sprains, a normal mild sprain requires 1-2 some times 3 days of rest. But as soon as the pain allows it you should really start to train the leg through mild exercises. Also keep it cool, elevated, rested and compressed while resting. A severe sprain takes longer and sometimes requires surgery.
It is your ligaments that get overstretched and torn. The severity of the sprain depends on how badly the ligament is damaged. If it takes several weeks to get back on your feet after a sprain then you either get some serious sprains, have a seriously low pain tolerance (it will always hurt a little when you start to exercise/walk after a sprain) or you have small leg muscles as they help to increase stability and ease the stress on the ligaments.
Having to little muscle mass in your legs also increases the risk of sprains because of the increased stress, also if you hardly ever exercises and suddenly decides to run a marathon then you are also likely to get a sprain simply because your ligaments aren't used to be used and therefore are less durable.

Everything you stated are normal. For the last 4 years, I've pretty much only drank coke, or some sort of sports drink. The poprocks/mentos + coke thing is a load of bull. Unless you eat like an 8-ball size ball of salt, you'll only get dehydrated due to osmosis pulling the water out of your cells to dilute it. [Portion on sprains removed due to noticing jade's more in-depth descriptions.]
I'd also like to state that your immune system plays no role in any of those functions...
Also, I think I have a fairly good immune system, not including this last year where I worked in a freezer, I've been sick for longer than 1 day twice in my life. And one of those 2 times was the chicken pox, lol.

that still doesn't mean anything. Now if you made out with them and drank a tub of their fluids I would be impressed. But being in a room with them doesn't say anything about your immune system. The teachers not daring to come into the room doesn't mean anything either. Society has a tendency to over-dramatize things and this results in people over reacting to situations. Of course there is a increased risk of getting sick but you can live with a family of sick people and not get sick. It doesn't mean you have a special immune system it just means you didn't get sick.
I wouldn't claim to say you have a special immune system without doing something on the level of having a terribly sick person puke into a bucket and then drinking the vomit and then not getting sick.
So no, that is not spectacular at all.

My immune system is pretty good, too! I rarely get sick and I could sit in a room filled with diseased people and come out completely normal.
However, when I DO get sick, it's really bad. :\ I wish I got sick more often so my body would be more prepped for those really bad colds!

What the heck. I couldhave some of that what you seem to think is "defective"... I've had health issues since I was very young. pardon me for saying this, but complaining about something like quick healing time from self-inflicted wounds is immature, oblivious and annoyingly selfish.

I saw page 1 but they were all normal (i'm pretty sure a lot of people said the same thing 'cos i couldn't be bother to look at page 2 and 3). AND!! My record of drinking coke was about 18. When i was 7-8, i drank like 8-10 on one day but 4 for the rest of the week (each day)so i pretty much build up some immunity to sugar after all these years. FYI, i'm not fat lol...i'm a fit person :)
If your wondering how i get those cokes when i was small, thats 'cos i was small haha so i beg people to give me coke muahahahaaha.

theres a saying in Japanese "Baka wa kaze hikanai", lol no offence to anyone
I don't think I have anything special but I know of groups of people who have crazy immune systems
I stayed in a place in Nepal where the mosquitoes carry Malaria but the native population is the only group in the world to be naturally immune to Malaria
Also the native population in Paraguay and Brazil drink the water from the Pantanal which is connected to the Amazon but they have no problem at all... most of the time. But they are extremely weak to the common cold because they barely eat any green vegetables

In general, I used to only have a chance of getting sick at the end of a college quarter. More often than not it actually happened at the end of the college year. (Great way to end off a school year, huh?), but outside of that (since I'm done with college now), I rarely catch any sicknesses going around. And if I feel like I'm coming down with something, I generally fight it off before it gets bad. I've been in close proximity to people who haven't been feeling well, have them apologize if I come down with something, and not catch what they have.
I don't think I've caught the flu in a very long time (and I never get the shot for it). I hope it stays that way, too.
I can't recall the last time I got so sick that I threw up. Last time I did was because I took some pills without eating something first when I was supposed to. That was over a year ago.

your immune system is strong because you are still young.. maintain that abusing to yourself and wait at least 10 years you'll know what I mean.. Just a reminder.

well mine isn't as insane as yours but I'm addicted to sweets you see. I always eat tons of sweets everyday, And no matter how many times I eat sweets, I never got fat. in fact, I'm very skinny as that of a girl. Even right now while typing this, I'm eating a sweet cake xD

I would be classified as one with "Insane Immune System". I could be in a room with a bunch of sick people, and come out like nothing happened.
I should also mention that I havent even gotten a sickness as insignificant as a cold in years O___O
Am I a mutant? o.o
