Summer Competition to keep Boredom Away!!!


Well its summer holidays for most of our members (except those of you from Australia and New Zealand to whom I apologise) and I thought it was time to to have another competition and get you bunch to use your gray matter a bit ... before they rust away and you turn into mindless zombies!! :18:

The winner will get .... well the only thing we give away freely ... a new Medal!

Here it is ...
Come up with a limerick or poem that is linked to anime - for example

There was a young monk in Sayuuki
Who went on very long journey
He had four friends
Who stuck to the end
And one of them was a monkey!!

(Ok I am really bad at this so wont even attempt to join the competion!!)

For those who are wondering, the anime is Ranma 1/2. As soon as I saw this post this immediately began forming in my head without much forethought. Guess I just knew if I had to write something, it would be about Ranma, huh?

her eye is red and her hair is crimson flame,
and yes, that type of girl is hard to tame.
but one boy manage to befriend the girl,
and after some time, he fight along side with her.

this is a story about two different flames in one world,
a story which is sometimes too cold.
about a boy who want to know what he really is,

I feel it strongly and it hurts me, much to my dismay.
What is it about her that makes my heart beat faster?
Is it how she looks at my brother when my beast rages in disaster?
I want her eyes only fixed solely on me,
when she does, I feel as if my soul has been set free.
However that is just a secret wish from a person like me,
she already loves somebody as any blind fool would see.
But stil deep down in my demon heart I silently wish,
to prove to the gods that I am the person that will seal her destiny with a immortal kiss.

In a city in uproar caused by a madman for sure
Who tries to pin a different kin into battles of sin
A boy stumbles onto the scene of a battle in which he shouldn’t intervene
A kiss will bewinge and let her powers unhinge

Not one or four, but five of these angles he hide
Immensely bliss is his when places his kiss is placed upon their lips

Okay... so I wrote another one... I didin't pick this anime because I know it's one of a certain admin's favourites or anything shady like that... so buzz off! (lol)

A poor girl disliked her school one day,

So... Just to add a poem to the thread... I'm not submitting this one... The Zetsubou Class is my submission to the contest a few posts back... But I'm bored and It was fun getting ryhmes off my head...
And so... Here I go...

But she acted weird as years have passed
Found out she was dating my best friend half-assed

I went outside, and I saw something terrifying
P.E. teachers trying to fend off a weird looking man

Blood showered through the gate though the bite was small
Another teacher cared for him only down to fall
The old man bit the teacher on the neck

The boy rushed to class disturbing the lecture

They used old stuff as weapons a bat and a broomstick
But the other boy depended on his punches and kicks
The virus was fast and spread throughout
This is what the principal announced
But his speech did not last long
after he died all classes ran amok
The three went to to the roof
Only to encounter a zombie running aloof
He grabbed the girl first as if she was grub
Then she used her skills from the spear martial arts club
Stabbed him in the heart she did
But the dead did not submit
The other boy locked his back
But the dead turned his face ward-back
Bit his arm he did a lot of blood showered
Even when the bite was small his stamina did shorten
They ran for the roof and barricaded the stairs
Then the other boy ran out of air
The boy kept silent, watching his best-friend die
The girl started weeping saying, "Please don't die"
But the other boy didn't zombify yet
He said, "Throw me off from there, I'll die I bet"
The girl hesitated, not wanting her boyfriend dead
But then too late, her boyfriend felt the dread
The boy took his bat and smashed his head
Though this is not what the other wanted to be dead
The girl cried loudly with the boy keeping quiet
The boy finally muttered that this was his end
The girl started blabbering about why he shouldn't have killed him
The boy then didn't want to bother and was going to kill more dims
The girl stopped him and weeped by his shoulder
"Don't leave me." She said. The boy feeling sober.
A rather romantic hug in the middle of a campus for the dead
Yes, this was Highschool Of the Dead
