popular shounen sub-genres: w/c do you like?

As we all know, the most popular anime genre right now is SHOUNEN of course. But since the anime has been a big industry in Japan, versatility of themes had progressed ever since its emergence. thus, giving rise to various genres and sub-genres.
As for me, shounen could be further classified according to themes, and i think the popular ones are:

-ninja--------------------------------------naruto
-gang/mafia/pirate----------------------reborn
-samurai----------------------------------bleach
-car race----------------------------------initialD
-sports------------------------------------prince of tennis
-rock band--------------------------------beck
-progressive science/techno------------fmalchemist

so if i were to choose my most preferred shounen subgenre, it's definitely....*tada*

---i guess ninja themes are still invincible....

Hahaha.... My favorite is Fullmetal Alchemist, so I go with Progressive science/techno

Also since your list has the popular ones I like ninja sub-genres as well... Specifically Naruto Shippuuden

I like anime which are sci-fi or basically science related.

Also, technology anime is also good so I enjoy some mecha I already finish.

-ninja (one and only Naruto lol)
-progressive science/techno (I agree, FMA, and I dunno if kkm is supposed to be here lol (shounen ai lol) )

I dont like sports anime, race types and some mecha animes.. no offense..
