OS Ranking System

Well, I'm not really sure if I should call it a ranking system, but that's all I could think of. I haven't seen any threads or a place on the website that describes what the rankings are and how you get to be that rank. Here are the ones I know of already, but I still have no clue how you get to be there. It could just be my n00bness, but I'm curious nonetheless...

Junior members are the majority of members. They do not fit in any other category but are just as loved as anyone else.

Regulars are people who have posted 30 times and have been with the site for 30+ days. This is what I would've been if i didn't become a moderator. As the name implies, they are regulars to the site. It DOESN'T mean they are ordinary though, they have taken the first steps into becoming a Citizen.

Citizens are members who have made 200 valid posts and have been with the site for 90 days or more. They are dedicated veterans and should be commended for their activity. I personally have never seen one -- yet.

Uploaders are the people who we need to praise and lavish with love since they provide our anime:emhh03: If you see one, thank them for all their hard work.

Moderators are just here to bother people as well as occasionally help the admins with some tasks such as enforcing rules. OS members have an opportunity to become one of these...

Super Moderators can shoot lasers out of their eyes. That is why they are called "Super." If you don't believe me, it's only because you have never seen the action performed. Instead you should just trust me. Also happens to be very friendly and helpful. Besides lasers and being helpful, Supers also possess a variety of powerful abilities in their arsenal of weapons (similar to those of the Admins -- read below*)

Admins are the gods of this site and can smite those who displease them. They are very helpful as well and will respect those who deserve respect. If there are problems with the site (such as video or site anomalies), the Admins will solve those problems.

Admins are also very forgiving of those who are foolish. So please don't smite me.

Note: (super) Mods and Admins can also upload videos but will stay at their respective Mod/Admin Status.

Hahahaha .... OS VIPs are those beloved souls who have included us in their monthly budget and have donated towards the upkeep of OS.
Right now our donating system is a bit out of wack, but it will be back pretty soon and if we are to survive into next year we will really need those OS VIPs :4:

OS VIP - the good willed members who shares their hard earned money to run this site

UPLOADER(active) - OS heroes. uploaded videos * color will last within a month after the last upload. *permanent status = > 100 video uploads

UPLOADER(inactive) - < 100 video uploads or no uploads after a month

MORDRATOR - the first line of defense in OS. chosen by the OS gods

SUPER MODERATOR - yes we can shoot laser with our eyes and more

ADMIN - 3 words. jbluey and avich. look them up and thank them

fun fact: bindu became an admin for a day XD

Me too. I sure hope there's a rank after Citizen. After getting many people up for eligibility for OS Citizen and a guy like me who'll reach 200 posts in less than 30/90 days in only just a few days, yeah.

I remember when I put many rankings on my site(can't control the account life, though, just post count).

I remember making it(the rankings post count) reach 4000. :PP

mm but speaking of ranks.. wouldnt it be cool for VIPs to have like "VIP ranks" like.. past a donation mark you would become a "VIP Citizen" .. and then a rank up to "OS Crusader" or something @_@/
in the sense that someone donating $5 gets the same rank as someone that has given $30 then doesnt seem to b much different from junior members o.oa..
like would b kick ass if it was like a pale blue and it would become brighter or darker as the amount of donation increases =o

Anyways.. I'm glad OS has that 30/90day wait period for rankings, cause it would be odd(ex Shin) to become an Regular/Citizen in just a few days.

Admins must have put some hard thought about the rankings(I guess its not the matter about how many posts but how long you were a member) ^_^
