I want to know if there are any Tales fans heeere XD.

Just want to know if there are any hopes on what you think will be in the new tales games. ( Tales of Graces (for the wii), Tales of VS(psp), Tales of Vesperia (port to ps3)). Also we cant forget that Vesperia is having a movie now :3
I mean, the Tales of Abyss anime is already good, along with the Tales of Symphonia OVA ><

Oooo I'm a fan of the tales of series. Havent played every single game in the series yet but i find that most of the games in the series are very interesting. Also there is supposedly another one called tales of ten coming out on the wii if i'm not mistaken

i only played tales of phantasia on snes... played the tales of phantasia on the psx remake... played tales of eternia.. tales of destiny 1.... tales of symphonia 1 and 2...

dont ask me about tos2... i got bored playing it... my brother ended it instead and i just watched the story flow while he is playing...

i dont have xbox 360 but things dont go well for the tales of vesperia with the new scripts and costumes exclusive for playstation 3... that would give a sad taste in the mouth if that happens...

hahha yes @ coldfire. Tos2 was such a let down. Hence why it was called a spin-off game. You can tell they didn't spend a lot of time on it.
(the ones I've played. Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Destiny 1 , Tales of Symphonia, Tale of Legendia (not really... an official tales game... didnt like it very much ><), Tales of the Abyss.... but I know alot about rebirth, eternia, and Destiny 2.)

I can't believe that just a couple of complaining fans got an "xbox 360 exclusive" to be ported to the ps3. They're adding another character for play, extending the length that you keep Flynn, and lengthening the storyline.

For the new one for Wii... I hear that they will be utilizing a new dodging system. I wonder how that will go. I hope that they don't use too muc of the wiis waggle. Maybe they'll use the IR for mini games :D

Wow, there's a lot more in the Tales series than I thought. I only have Tales of Vesperia. Honestly, I think it's a good game. But I'm not really a critic or anything and it's the only Tales game I have, so yeah. :P

@ Awuk: do you mean Radiant Mythology 2?, already passed it 10 times with my male, and 29 times with my female >:} (in jap tho XD), it's a great game, still waiting for the Eng one XD (tho I don't think it will be out any time soon), it took 7 months just to make the first Radiant Mythology to turn into eng -_-, and RM 2 is about 2 times bigger than RM 1 (I use cso's and iso's >:} hahaha~)

Tales of Phantasia sounds familiar, that might just be my mind screwing with me.

But I loved Tales of Symphonia. The story was fun, and I liked the idea they had for battles. It took more skill than the old-style Final Fantasy RPG battle concept.

I want. To. Play. As. Every. Character..... well. Maybe not Malik LOL.

But it seems every character has 2 styles. The main character Asbel has drawn sword style, and sheathed sword styles... In other videos it shows him just kicking and punching alot.

This is just speculation on my part but the two styles per character

Pascal seems to be a summoner who uses both a Staff and a rifle, she also seems to have long range spells and status effects

Sofi seems to be a close brawler who also uses energy type physical moves that provide long range attacks

I couldn't tell, but I'm assuming Cheria will be the healer. She has light based spell attacks and from the look of her physical skills... she uses Kunai which is quite interesting in my opinion. (Though Tear in Tales of Abyss did use some throwing knives in her physicals). A healer who's physicals are long range? Its a plus.

Hubert has a dual bladed sword which in fact can be broken down into two swords. And he has dual pistols. He's so spinney!! It looks so fun to play as him.

Richard has a sword... and he seems to have status effect moves.. with a couple sword related spells (He's a prince). I always end up playing the secondary swordsman lol. Kratos, Zelos, Chloe, Guy... you name them xD

Malik uses a bladed boomerang and spells

Also I can't believe that the purple haired girl (Sophie) is 13 years old and the red haired girl with the staff (Pascal) is 22 years old. Apparently Hubert is the brother of Asbel too lol. (I hear also at some point you get to play the characters as children in some flashback)

well its been out for a while... but in case you guys haven't heard.

Theres an english version of the Tales of Graces opening...
to me thats just a flag saying that the game is going to be localized in America lol. I mean... they did it for the first time with Vesperia (Having a Japanese version of a song... and then the exact same song only with english lyrics). Then again... before Vesperia they did decide to keep Bump of Chicken's "Karma" as the opening for Abyss, but only made it a musical arrangement without the lyrics.

also guys the world and radiant mythology series aren't really compilations... just kinda games that fulfill fandom lol. I mean... usually games that transcend other games and combine them are amazing (a more common example is kingdom hearts lol.... final fantasy and disney characters everywhere! And who isn't familiar with atleast a disney character and atleast a final fantasy character?). There is a great deal of nostalgia when a person, familiar with the characters, plays the game.

I'm such a tales of vesperia fan it's not even funny.
Well... maybe a little funny, at times. X)
It was the fact that OS had a full-streaming version of ToV: the first strike that I even came to this website.

I played symphonia on gamecube once, and it was fun, but I really really REALLY like Vesperia. I'll just play it over and over using new earned boosts each round, trying to get closer and closer to 100% completion. There is SO much to do! I'm jealous of everyone who has it on ps3 while I only have the the original version on xbox360... on the ps3 version, there's even more extra stuff added. Not fair.

Lol all of the tales games are amazing. Im gona have to put Symphonia as the #1 game in the series... You just CANT beat that story. Its the best most immersive story/gameplay ive ever come across in a game. In my personal opinion i think its better than the new systems in Vesperia. All the old games are pretty good. Unfortunatly i cant find an original copy of Phantasia -.- and have to play the gba port T_T Anything with Tales of in front of it im buying though. My Tales fanboyism even out does my SMT fanboyism xD

I'm a major fan. Love Symphonia(favorite) and Abyss. I'm playing ToS: dawn of the new world. And I haven't finished Legendia (the constant getting into battle gets annoying though, especially when you don't want to go into battle.)
