WELCOME TO THE NEW AND IMPROVED OTAKU-STREAMERS

PROBLEM: "To fix autologout problem: Try clearing your cookies."


Well this has been in the making for the last four months and its finally here thanks to the many sleepless nights and hard work from Jim. This site is now faster and better in every way and has heaps of new stuff for everyone.

However there is one big apology we need to give all our members :2:
All the activities performed in the last three days were lost. Sadly it took a lot longer to get the bugs out from the new site (planned 24 hrs = actual 72 hrs) and if we try to copy the last 3 days of data, we would end up losing another 48 - 72 hrs integrating it, so we have decided to cut our losses and hope our deep and heartfelt apology would be accepted.

Also some of the data were not compatible with the new prorgammes such as count of "Thanks" earned and a few others which you will discover as you go. Sadly they had to be sacrificed for the sake of a better site.

Also any members who registered in the last 3 days will need to register again ...Gomenasai!!!

Pls do report any bugs you find and apologize in advance if there is any inconvenience caused in the next few days till the dust settles down. There may also be some occasional lag till the new server gets comfortable and used to the sudden influx of members. Pls be patient and eventually it will all fall into place .... honest ....

Now enough of reading this!! Go explore, learn, test ... in other words ... ENJOY!!
EDIT 1: The watchlog is not gone, its still being intergrated into the new programme and is still recording so when its on line in a couple of days it will have the unbroken history available..

hi, i could not view the animes from the streaming...
although i have used my user name and password to log in... it will automatically log me out again when i try to view those anime streaming...

i really like the new look, but i ABSOLUTELY HATE the new streaming page. i enjoyed that huge list of anime and being able to browse through it rather seamlessly. It showcased how enormous this compilation of shows was, now i have to click and search annoyingly for what i want. i do like descriptions, but not at this cost.

list of streaming anime now is sooooooooooo big, that i cant even navigate freelyy..
with the streaming list u have now u support only well known serries,
i think that this site works a lot slower than before now,
and about layout.. it is colorless now, it feel like i am in the middle of fall, i think that this site looks..
like someone had eaten old site and vomited and the result is what we see...

The site looks nice, but I have to agree with those that liked the old streaming page better. I liked being able to just scroll through and see what was new or updated rather than having to search. Also many of the animes I was introduced to on this site go by their original Japanese names which can be difficult to remember off the top of your head. Usually though, I could get it close enough to find it in the proper section of the old page. The new one makes it more difficult.

the new OS is pretty nice but anime list from the old one was better in my opinion. Not that the short description isn't good, but it could've been added in the hover tooltip and kept the old listing. The new search is pretty awsome too, since u can select multiple genres, also there is finally a next button :)

Please be patient with us. There are different phases that OS is going through to implement updates and I believe the watchlog is on the phase 2 of the project. Watchlog is still recording by the way.

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience and just bear with us for while, it will be implemented soon.
