at first i though durarara is cool and amazing cuz the characters are good looking and the setting and the story is kind of different with celty and all but when i started watching it it feels kinda boring and now im still stuck at ep 8

DRRR is the most epic anime I have ever watched that made my mind very twisted at the start of the story but after it all came together I can't believe that it was such an awesome anime I was glad that I didn't dropped it and just kept watching on

durarara's getting pretty interesting in every ep they're releasing~

esp. the one where Masaomi figured out that his bestfriends were the leaders of the other groups.. and Sonohara on Masaomi being the leader of the Yellow Gang. Too bad Mikado haven't figured it out yet.

i used to read the title as durarara(du ra ra ra) but i now read it as DRRR(drarara!! like a shout such as aaa!!) but i sometimes say durarara to avoid confusion and to prevent misunderstand.
DRRR is one of the rare animes [ I ] would say "from great to epic".
other titles are "when they cry s1 and s2", "gundam 00 s1 and s2" and "ef a tales of memories/melodies"
well the other titles all have 2 seasons. DRRR doesnt (yet or maybe not) which makes it so much more exciting.
its hard to really understand the start especially the dollar chat box its not even labeled as such.

I am kind of same like you.. It gets kind of boring after a while and cause me to lose my motivation to continue. In the end I ended looking for the plot in wiki. After which I jump straight to the last ep.

I was really shock when I see a yuri on that ep. I was like "is this true?" and another battle great battle scene. And I didnt notice the toradora part.

Nevertheless, this special episode prove again why people like durarara!!

I first learned about DRRR from the icons I saw of them from an lj community. I thought Izaya and Namie looked good together, and that Shizuo looked bad ass. Then I read the reviews and thought it was quite interesting. The reviewer warned that it might be slow and confusing during the first few episodes but promised that it would all fall into place and become interesting as the story goes deeper. I'm glad I held on.

It was a very interesting anime and Shizuo turned out to be a real bad ass. Izaya turned out to be a twisted but entertaining character. The whole concept of chat room psychology also got me thinking. It's also one of those few animes where the side characters add a delightful twist to the whole plot. I also love the first ending song and video. I want to read the light novel!

I want to see Izaya to cause more trouble, or for him to have a rival in terms of people manipulation. that would be good.
