Simply include the fan-sub group ( name ) beside each episode . For example , placing them like this >
No| Episode | FanSub | Date uploaded | Uploaded by| Views| Watch |
================================================
1 | Episode 1 | ( Group ) |2009-06-14 | BloodyAngel | 189 | (>) (>) |
================================================
It can really help us a lot if Uploaders does this in the future. Because we don't want to waste our time to find out which group does the anime. Wasting our time and reading some crappy subs for awhile until you don't see proper encoding, translations, timing and then it says Presented By : I'am Shit Subs ( With ugly font )
For example, if all the fan-subs isn't the same ex. : Episode 1 , 3 = Fan-sub X ( Which i like ), Episode 2 = Fan-sub Y ( Which i hate ) , i can then simply search for alternate sources for Episode 2 and then come back for Episode 3 .
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is something other anime website doesn't have and i don't find it stupid to include :)
So sorry for the long essay ... i hope you guys can take this into consideration :)

many streamers in the net sometimes doesn't care about the quality of the subs they're watching (at first I'm like that too...)
its sometimes hard for uploader/s (like me) to find some quality subs. In my side, I'm always considering who's fan-sub will have a release of episode fast.
in this option w/c will u choose?
Group A: (early release ep1 of __ anime)(crappy font etc)
Group B: (late release ep1 of __ anime)(quality subs)

It's up to what the uploader's upload, it's for them to decide. I don't care if the the subs are bad or good , just simply write the name down ._.
To answer your qn , ( no offence ) OS is already quite slow in uploading new anime which has been released. Might as well wait for better subs ? If not , just choose speed subs . ( Whatever, not for me to decide. )
But as for other animes in the 'Request List' ; ( the ones which are not added yet ) i would prefer quality.

This is interesting.
Firstly, I want to applaud the idea of recognition of the hard working crew of subbers, who make watching anime possible to those of us who do not fully understand the Japanese language.
Right...
It presents the problem of alternate views, which is, for example here, speed or quality.
This means 2 or more of the same episode in OS.
However, I think that this is somewhat additional because OS uses it's own player, and not additional players for its content (etc Veoh, Megaupload Video)
I personally prefer simplicity where there is only one video of each episode.
However, what could be done is to first upload a perhaps poorer quality sub for 'the latest episode of XXX' and then posting the quality sub later on. However, this is alot of work for our poor OS staff.

I guess that it this thread should be recognize by the uploaders and the admin cause this is related to them.....
I guess that I agree with tanxcb idea about OS having one video of a episode then we can just request for a change of video if the quality is to low or somehow cannot continue to watch

>.> Then trust us Uploaders what we upload coz we know best who are the best subbers with good quality
Plus that will depends on other uploaders
Others are veteran or senior uploaders already know what subs are the best with quality
For example CrunchySubs and GA subs are ripoff of CR since CR are license and recognize by Japan industries ^^^

I agree with what tanxcb has mentioned in the above post . But i'm not suggesting about 2 videos .. what i'm suggesting is just to put the name of the subbers ; that's all .
Xiety , i agree with you too. But sometimes not the entire series have the same subbers ( I forgot which ) . But sometimes , looks can be deceiving.
For example , Tales of Symphonia Subbed by Formula , which is the best fan-sub for Tales of Symphonia , had such an ugly font . I thought it was a crap subs and decided to find alternate sources but it turned out to be Formula . ( Which I had to wait for the OP Theme to start ._. )
If by having the fan-subs at the Episode page , it'll reassure us and we'll just simply watch, instead of waiting till the OP starts.
Well , this is up for uploaders and admin to decide :D

>.> All old animes have different subbers with different sub fonts and colors and some are not pretty sight using different colors
Dont compare past and the present
Present subbers are in best

I wasn't comparing the past and the present at all.
Btw , say good-bye to Ecliptic-BSS subs for Durarara! , they dropped it. AnimeCouncil subs and crunchy-rip are the only ones left ~.~

would it be possible if you could add like a line of text by the synopsis telling us who subbed the series were watching.
I keep watching some fantastic series and would like to archive some but have no idea which fan-sub group did it

That could be a good idea, assuming one anime is subbed by only one group, which isn't always the case.

Nice suggestion, some fansubs are not as accurate as Dattebayo...

but then again someone made a new thread and you just need to let them see this?
and i would think it will be helpful cause someone might want to download this anime from this subber here
then he/she will introduce a new anime then that member will upload so
its moreuploaders O_O

I do not bother it as long as I can read it but sometimes the font is too much small for me I know it is my fault since I have difficulties in my eyes. But I think this will be bothersome to some uploaders so I guess we should just trust our uploaders. They know what is the best for us.
