Hmmm...well first, I'll start with COUNTING NUMBERS:
For nos. 1-10, there are 2 sets of words for each no.; one set which goes only from 1-10 is native Jap; the other goes from 1 to as far as you want to add zeroes is Chinese in origin. Native Jap no. words are a bit complicated but important;
1 = hitotsu
2=futatsu
3=mittsu
4=yotsu
5=itsutsu
6=muttsu
7=nanatsu
8=yattsu
9=kokonotsu
10=to
2nd set:Chinese ages ago has 10 basic nos.:
1=ichi
2=ni
3=san
4=shi
5=go
6=roku
7=shichi
8=hachi
9=ku
10=ju
In Jap, 11 is 10+1, or ju-ichi,
12=10+2=ju-ni
13=10+3=ju-san
14=10+4=ju-yon
15=10+5=ju-go
16=10+6=ju-roku
17=10+7=ju-shichi/ju-nana
18=10+8=ju-hachi
19=10+9=ju-ku
20= 2 10's=ni-ji
21= 2 10's+1= ni-ju-ichi
22= 2 10's+2=ni-ju-ni
23= 2 10's + 3 = ni-ju-san
30= 3 10's= san-ju
40= 4 10's= yon-ju
50= 5 10's=go-ju
60=6 10's= roku-ju
70= 7 10's= nana-ju
80= 8 10's=hachi-ju
90= 9 10's= kyu-ju (from "ku" to "kyu" for ease of pronunciation)
New specific word for 100= hyaku, then:
101= (100+1)= hyaku-ichi
102= 100+2=hyaku-ni
103=100+3=hyaku-san
115=100+10+5=hyaku-ju-go
120=100+ 2 10's=hyaku-ni-ju
121=100+2 10's+1=hyaku-ni-ju-ichi
130=100+3 10's=hyaku-san-ju
140=100+4 10s=hyaku-yon-ju
145=100+4 10s+5=hyaku-yon-ju-go
200=2 100s=ni-hyaku
300=sam-byaku(euphonic change for ease)
400=yon-hyaku
1000=sen
1235=1000+2 100s+3 10s+5=sen-ni-hyaku-san-ju-go
(Ahhh!! you do the math or whatever already for the rest)
5000=go-sen
8000=ha'sen ("chi" is dropped)
10,000=man [new word]
43,678 (can you do the math of this???!!lol)=yon-man-san-sen-roppyaku-nana-ju-hachi (whew!!)
1,000,000= 100 10-1000's=hyaku-man
2 M (it's tiring to type)=ni-hyaku-man
3 M=sam-byaku-man
And so on...
anyway, for money;
yen=en
dollar=doru
So...
1,200 yen=sen-ni-hyaku en
2,150 yen=ni-sen-hyaku-go-ju en
$ 20.00=ni-ju doru
$35=san-ju-go doru
$47=yon-ju-nana doru
Well...that's all for now. PM me if you want to learn more and I'll post here again. :)

:emhh25:
It doesn't mean anything, it's just an emphasis at the end of a sentence.
Like an exclamation mark.
And they had to have something in the English dub so they didn't just have lips moving and nothing coming out ;]
Or if you like:

To describe something as big, add "O" at the beggining... example...

all japanese adjectives (the one that serves as a modifier, not the ones who can stand on its' own) ends with the letter "i".. no exceptions..
ex:

Hmmm...well first, I'll start with COUNTING NUMBERS:
For nos. 1-10, there are 2 sets of words for each no.; one set which goes only from 1-10 is native Jap; the other goes from 1 to as far as you want to add zeroes is Chinese in origin. Native Jap no. words are a bit complicated but important;
1 = hitotsu
2=futatsu
3=mittsu
4=yotsu
5=itsutsu
6=muttsu
7=nanatsu
8=yattsu
9=kokonotsu
10=to
2nd set:Chinese ages ago has 10 basic nos.:
1=ichi
2=ni
3=san
4=shi
5=go
6=roku
7=shichi
8=hachi
9=ku
10=ju
In Jap, 11 is 10+1, or ju-ichi,
12=10+2=ju-ni
13=10+3=ju-san
14=10+4=ju-yon
15=10+5=ju-go
16=10+6=ju-roku
17=10+7=ju-shichi/ju-nana
18=10+8=ju-hachi
19=10+9=ju-ku
20= 2 10's=ni-ji
21= 2 10's+1= ni-ju-ichi
22= 2 10's+2=ni-ju-ni
23= 2 10's + 3 = ni-ju-san
30= 3 10's= san-ju
40= 4 10's= yon-ju
50= 5 10's=go-ju
60=6 10's= roku-ju
70= 7 10's= nana-ju
80= 8 10's=hachi-ju
90= 9 10's= kyu-ju (from "ku" to "kyu" for ease of pronunciation)
New specific word for 100= hyaku, then:
101= (100+1)= hyaku-ichi
102= 100+2=hyaku-ni
103=100+3=hyaku-san
115=100+10+5=hyaku-ju-go
120=100+ 2 10's=hyaku-ni-ju
121=100+2 10's+1=hyaku-ni-ju-ichi
130=100+3 10's=hyaku-san-ju
140=100+4 10s=hyaku-yon-ju
145=100+4 10s+5=hyaku-yon-ju-go
200=2 100s=ni-hyaku
300=sam-byaku(euphonic change for ease)
400=yon-hyaku
1000=sen
1235=1000+2 100s+3 10s+5=sen-ni-hyaku-san-ju-go
(Ahhh!! you do the math or whatever already for the rest)
5000=go-sen
8000=ha'sen ("chi" is dropped)
10,000=man [new word]
43,678 (can you do the math of this???!!lol)=yon-man-san-sen-roppyaku-nana-ju-hachi (whew!!)
1,000,000= 100 10-1000's=hyaku-man
2 M (it's tiring to type)=ni-hyaku-man
3 M=sam-byaku-man
And so on...
anyway, for money;
yen=en
dollar=doru
So...
1,200 yen=sen-ni-hyaku en
2,150 yen=ni-sen-hyaku-go-ju en
$ 20.00=ni-ju doru
$35=san-ju-go doru
$47=yon-ju-nana doru
Well...that's all for now. PM me if you want to learn more and I'll post here again. :)
