why 12? cause the manga can only supply up to 12 ep. At least thats what happen and notice after ep7 is released before.

Ofc that is only an assumption but the announcement of additional 3 ep means that the one directing the anime story would most likely try to stick with the manga story by making his own that can still be connected to the manga story. Not a bad idea as long as it will satisfy the need to finish the story for Saki Achiga
