I'll go with K-Pop, Korean just sounds so much more natural to me than Japanese for whatever reason. I also like Korean songs with rap like what Epik High does.

I didn't like it at first, however I changed my mind about K-Pop after listening to them for a while.

Oh yes, by the way, I think Miku's songs are no good compared to real human singing. Sorry for blaspheming your diva.

Both K Rap and J Rap = cringingly embarrassing

Their "heavy hardcore" rap and rock both are no where close to English rap
When I was in Korea I was watching a music videos of a K Rap and K punk but everyone's reaction was "wtf..."

Many of my korean friends also say K Rap is pretty bad in general since its not as big
but I have to say J Rap is equally bad


But in terms of Pop, I think K-Pop is actually better. J-Pop isn't usually my taste, just like American top-chart music is pretty terrible. But Japan's underrated music is some of the best, much better than the pop. Very the music is very artist and poetic.

In terms of lyrics, I personally feel that J-songs have better meaning and more versatile in it's music. Its not always about those "I cant be together with you" love songs. Just like those Chinese songs...

In terms of music, They sound much better. K-pop songs are repetitive to me. Some of them has a lot of rapping, which I dont really like. LOL

my reason... is because all the K-pop groups I've seen a "heart-broken male singles," "Out of their minds boy group," and... the most popular, "Girl groups."

They are missing the important element of, "Crazy girl female singles." Which I came to love... ^^

Seems that every romance anime's female voice actors have their own single and released album...

In other words... I'm not much of a fan of Girl groups... because then I can't tell who's singing!

So... as long as J-pop has more, "Female Singles." It's J-pop for me!

Jpop is geared towards projecting a feeling like happiness, sadness or bliss. where Kpop is made with an "activity" in mind like driving, dancing, working

The scenes are like GIF images, always repeating and repeating no matter what the person is saying says...

The only thing that ever changes are the 3D things that are going on... though they repeat themselves sometimes though...

i rather go for j-pop. since k-pop kinda turns me off. when i caught a glimpse of one of my friends watching k-pop. i can't help myself but comment on seeing those dance moves like they are on a "epileptic syndrom". its like they are scratching their whole body with no apparent reason. really ridiculous (baka-bakashi). since i love nippongo, i'll go for j-pop since korean language is not my cup of tea. and their "alphabet" are complicated to understand. unlike romaji/hiragana/katakana, with a little getting use to are quite easy to understand if not to read as well.
