He is the most wanted man by the world government and that they greatly fear the possibility of warring against him along with Whitebeard, who is already a powerful threat in his own right and having some powerful followers such as Emporio Ivankov and Inazuma. proves only that luffys father is very strong.

His power is unknown yet but there are instances that dragon seems able to control the weather (what happen on Loguetown) or he has the power of the "wind logia".

He does. Luffy's dad is like in his late 30's or 40's and has a "guff" face compared to the still-young-looking Luffy.
Luffy also smiles a lot and looks happy. This helps him look even younger. Dragon doesn't do any of that :D

I think his ability is about controlling the weather. Remember the scene in Louge Town where Buggy is about to kill Luffy, Thunder strikes through them not harming Luffy. Because he's Rubber. And then with the updated chapter in manga where the Trash land (or whatsoever) is burning and the fire's all over the place....................(Too much details) Just read the manga. Teehee=))

He's a really powerful guy in reality, but i dont think he wants to be an admiral or anything that strong cuz he would have more responsibilitys and i agree that he's just like Smoker, he just wants to be a marine...


im not quite sure, but he also has the haki ability making him very strong and 1 of the people who could challenge even the Yonkou.

Yeahh, Dragon is damn strong..... In the Sabo FlashBack Arc (The Young Luffy, Ace Arc).. When the Grey Terminal is burning, Dragon's Ship Came and Dragon sent massive strong winds to make a passage for the residents of grey terminal would pass it leading to their ship... in the Lougetown arc, he saved luffy from buggy by sending in rain and lightning..... I really think, he controls weather devil fruit abilities........ SORRY FOR THIS SPOILER....-Im really fired up about ONE PIECE!..
