High School of the Dead is like, if not the best, Its certainly one of the best^^ Zombie genre ive ever did read^^

It is amazing! Can't believe it have been on hiatus for so long, well the manga is finally back and I'm fairly sure it will get even more popular once the anime sees daylight.

To sum it up in a few words.

George Romero meets manga (and soon anime ;).)

If you don't know he is the creator of pretty much every really good zombie movie, not only that he is also credited for the modern day zombie apocalypse genre.
You should all know his famous movie Dawn of the Dead, if you don't then you have quite the treat to look forward to!
The manga is so very much like Dawn of the dead, as well as the other XXXX of the dead movies. The only difference is that the author of the manga decided to throw in some lewd ecchiness, not really necessary in my opinion, but in all honesty I don't really mind either. As long as it doesn't become a major plot factor for the manga and it hasn't as of yet.

Q: What is better than manga girls busting up zombies?
A: Manga chicks with huge knockers busting up zombies

The worst thing they can do is to make it a comedy... While HSotD have some funny and ecchi moments it is really way more to the dark side, if they stray from that path it seriously going to mess up the story.
Who wants to watch a zombie-apocalypse anime that isn't the least bit scary?
