Hypothetically speaking, If OS were to make an online Anime RPG game were there are only 20 characters to choose from, what are the 20 anime characters will you recommend adding to the game?

Edit: It doesn't matter if its a non-fighting type of character. If you want it in the game, add it XD. And if you can only think of a few characters, then post it. I will just update them on this list below.

Hmm, tough call... I guess it depends on how you want it to play... if you want a lot of people running around in orange jumpsuits screaming "I iz A NiNJA" then the cast of Naruto would fill in quite nicely (I think there is more than 20). Or perhaps 'normal' characters from 'Melancholy of Haruhi Suzamia', Lucky Star, (random sports anime) etc. focusing more on difference in personalities than abilities.... Personally I like wierd, so an RPG based on Gintama would be awesome... hehe
Meh, it's all hypothetical anyway so my random pick of characters would be:

I think that all of the characters should come from different animes for lots of variety. Some characters from the same anime could be a single character, like a tag team character that has both character's attacks, but only one of them attacks at a time. ie: Jin and Mugen from Samurai Champloo having both Jin and Mugen's attacks and possibly combination attacks in the battle menu, but they only have one character stats and level up together.
