I kinda try to live a life with no regrets by basically making the decision that I think it best at the time. If I find out I didn't make the best choice later on then I don't look back on it because theres nothing I could have done.
If I die in 2012, ya I would have liked to dish out all my money and traveled all over the world but I won't really regret anything except for the choices that I made while knowing it was a bad decision at the start.
My tip: Travel as soon as you get the chance, straight out of highschool before university when you are the freest you will ever be. :emhh42:

Stupid Mayans... Just because they predicted meteor showers, that don't mean they can predict the end of the world.

I'll believe that the planets will align on 2012, but I won't believe that'll be the end of the world. It'll be like, a beatiful sighting... seeing lots of aura around planets everywhere.

Mayans didn't predict the world is going to end in 2012, thats just when their calendar ended. Idk where you guys pulled out the meteor showers and world ending from the Mayans.

If you really think about it, their calender has to end at some point. You can't expect them to write down their entire calender till the end of time.

I think anything is possible but I would have to see it to believe it, but then it would be too late wouldn't it?
The only advice I have is to live for today cause you might die tomorrow. That way even if the world does end you wont have too many regrets, and you're gonna die anyway so they wont be bothering you too much longer. ;)

But, on the off-chance that the world really did end in 2012, that would REALLY bite, because that only gives me two and a half years to enjoy life now that I'm FINALLY enjoying life. Ugh.

Remember the Y2k bug? People were panicking like crazy - stocking up food supplies and all that. I think that's how the 2012 things gonna end up as well. We always disappoint ourselves xD

ofc I don't really believe the humanity or the world is going to suddenly end in some spectacular way. But you have to admit it sounds more exciting then slowly dying out or being swallowed by a expanding sun billions of years in the future. :P

On another note there are some interesting things happening in 2012:
There will be 2 Solar eclipses that year and the sun will reach the Solar Maximum of it's current cycle (meaning there will be a lot more Aurora Borealis then usual that year)

Will it end? I don't know. I don't think people should worry about it. Did all the computers crash in 2000? No they did not. If we think too hard about "the end" we will lose sleep.

anything can happened it is just a prophecy. "We never know when will Jesus Christ the Son of God will come." even the smartest people doesn't know only God itself. For me it is a reminder for us to take care earth, love one another and world peace
