well to be fair, its not just google, its THE google. As you may all know, google is a search engine. It gets its database by indexing all websites through their servers, almost in real time. Occasionally their servers stumble upon suspicious sites that do something to their computers that it shouldn't. Then they mark it as an attack site. If you click on, why was it blocked button, there is going to be a detailed reason why it is marked.
There is a chance that it could be a false positive.
EDIT: Just checked it out.

How did this happen?
In some cases, third parties can add malicious code to legitimate sites, which would cause us to show the warning message.
I think e-games should do something about it and contact google. No matter what is said and done, it would certainly affect their traffic if they just let it be.

for the record. Ill ask this question 1st. Did you just call me an IDIOT!
and if so.. WHY????
this is just an event concerning me trying to visit e-games.com.ph site and was prompted with the message that says "this site is dangerous" and i do have my suspicion on E-games.com.ph. Because this is not the only time that this site has failed to install a malware in my system. Im using PeerGuardian and i always update this software for reported malware/trojan/spyware/virus hosting sites/servers and this has been the 5th time that i was prompted with this warning! concerning e-games.com.ph's site.. I don't know if this is E-games's doing or the site admin or if the site is just been highjack'd/tampered with..
so im not sure.!
this thread is simply to ask the user or players of e-games.com.ph if they had the similar experience and or
"what do you think does e-games deserve its current glory as one of Philippines biggest (and it ain't alot) MMORPG providers.."
and about the top "Quote" some Business/Commercial Sites do Put some kind of tracker or spyware on there site to silently monitor they're visitors.. its a fact!
AND for AVICH~ Thanks for looking in the mater for me man^^ i really appreciate the backup!^_^

whoa, for the record, I was not backing anyone. Just telling my opinion on the matter :)
But this is not something to get angry about. The safest way to visit websites is disabling scripts from running and having adblockplus too. Firefox add-on, just install noScript(configure to disable scripts on suspicious sites or just globally disable if you don't know what to do) and AdBlockPlus.
That is the safest way of browsing. Period.
e-games probably are not aware of this. But considering its been 90 days already, someone ought to let them know. IF it is a false positive, they still need to contact google on the matter to remove the flag OR to just adjust to their standards and make some necessary modification.
We had similar experience before, we had a 3rd party banner in the front page of OS to track its rank among other anime streaming sites but apparently MCAFEE flag it as a red(harmful) site and OS was flagged as well because of that connection. We were forced to remove it, even though we know that the flagged site was innocent, they were flagged because of the ads they are putting.
Just like google said, innocent sites can be flagged through 3rd party reasons. If 3-games have an ad on their site, that could be it. There is also a possibility that they are tracking cookies from visitors, or track the PC to check what games they play. Very important/expensive information to help them on their business. Anyway, we would never know. At least I won't because I don't give a crap ^^

I recently saw the same message on a different anime site that I visit. Apparently it was flagged as a malicious site because of the advertisements it contained. I think something like this happened before to OS thanks to animetoplist.

Wow really so OS had an advertisement?^_^
But seriously can anyone stick with the thread's main toping^^ i want to talk about the reputation of E-games.com.ph T_T not the malware^^
i myself had played the games "e-games.com.ph" provides. May it be (RAN, Zhu Xian, Cabal, O2 jam, Runes of magic, Audition, Granado Espada.) ive played it. But Due to the way E-games.com.ph way of running things.. they had dwindled to second on my best list^_^
My Fev. MMORPG distributer in the Philippines would be
1st. levelupgames.com.ph >a few years ago this was e-games.com.ph's place!<
2nd. e-games.com.ph
3rd. www.amped.ph

meh. google is the one that's at fault in my opinion.
i've played o2jam for two years back then and still looking forward to the new beatjam.
i check the site every now and then and still no malware ever detected by my antivirus
yeah well... i have to agree on you about overpriced epts items
i mean, WTH. i've spent almost 500 on avatar items on my o2jam character
and then all i get are a few sets, a few instruments and some songs.
AND THEN THEY SHUT DOWN THE SERVER?!?!?! i mean, WTF. O_O
not only that, even RAN! it's really hard to level up if you don't have rosaries
(which are bought in e-points) and badass equipment through epoints!
GAH!
anyway, enough ranting. imma go back to streamin'.

I believe the reason why that malware exists is due to the fact that E-games like to modify their websites too much.
Some of the scripts probably created a conflict and was considered by google search as malware.
anyways e-games are paying web developers to perfect the site
(stupid if you ask me. why do you need to soup up the website with heavy flash content?)
After one revision, go to another revision and so on.
If I were them, make it simple.
Microsoft does it, Apple does it, why do you have to make it a bandwidth hog site?
seems they have budget for website revisions every now and then but they dont have budget for their customer service.
lousy management is the root cause if you ask me.

yah same thought exactly.. I think what E-games does is like "a man Fishing"!? He lures you with tempting bait, Then catch's you and eats you for Dinner! Then just leaves your bone to rot.
I think that's what the business plan of e-games^^
Just cater the good fish and burn the plain fish...

To be honest this kind of thing happens to many popular sites. The sites that are very elaborate sometimes have code that doesn't read well with all browsers. For a fun example.. take http://validator.w3.org/ . They are one of the leading code verifying websites for us web designers; go ahead and try out any website to find that usually the most elaborate ones have multiple errors! (yahoo.com = 155 errors! xD). Even though these errors are everywhere, it's really not anything to worry about. to get something to run properly it needed that certain coding -- thus the updates you see in any software/hardware (coding issues! that's it!). So in the end it's easy for any such program to not like what they see and start shackling it and putting it in a dungeon until it figures out WTF they just put in there.
I think I also saw that that website is going down for a bit for maintenance... maybe it's relevant to the "malicious website" accusation they are getting. I've never seen this site before but are you able to boot applications(your games) from that site? I hear that's always a nasty thing to have scripted properly without any security program locking it down (games like combat arms have gone to that and had issues before).
Anyway... losing my Train of Thought... finished Overdrive today... good anime... up way too late... ZZzzz...
