Well.... IMO, Ichigo complements Orihime because of her immature and childhish nature. I ber Ichigo would be the one in control of the relationship I guess with him supporting Orihime most of the time. But I think it would be a one-sided couple since Orihime doesn't have anything that would make her a complement to Ichigo.

I prefer Rukia because they think of each other as equals. Although they usually banter throughout you can tell that they complement each other's weaknesses.
