Sad anime

Can i get some reccomendations for any sad anime movies or series. I mean the ones that make you tear up. out of all the anime's ive seen the only one that got me teared up was CAPETA lol... is it just me, Oh yea i forgot to mention Grave of the fireflies. Those seem to be the only 2 for me

nahakii beat me to it but yeah rumbling hearts or Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, as its called in Japanese, is one of the saddest animes Ive seen.
Also Eureka seveN was pretty emotional.

It depends on what kind of anime you want to watch.

One of my favorite artistic series: Genius Party, Movie 6. My heart was sore after that one. Its a very short film, like 5-10 mins. I would highly recommend it.
Another GREAT one is Tekkon Kinkreet. Its a movie thats not supports to be sad but theres a seriously tear jerking part to it. Made me cry a bit. I think you'll really enjoy that movie. Overall quality is excellent.
A light hearted anime that takes a bit of a sad turn at the end is Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto. Its probably not to the point where it brings you to tears though.

@folishinthend: if you like grave of the fireflies then i suggest try watch all hayao miyazaki's movies..since youve mentioned sad anime then try princess mononoke (mononoke hime).
