It must be nice if there would be guys and girls who can estimate or predict what Eichiro Oda is thinking right now.

My assumption would be that the boat whitebeard is using is actually underwater so the marines are guarding a wrong information about it. They might be hit hard behind their backs with the Moby **** (whitebeard warship). He also has in his command hundreds of Mermans coming from the new world as well.

The reason why the scout ships all sunk is because of the mermans. But i would really think that the fruit users will suffer greatly with the incredible strength coming from the mermans if it is on full force.

Another thing is probably red hair shanks would be coming in to aid him. Also luffy would be there along for the war. I don't think Luffy would be participating in defeating a marine admiral since we don't know how to defeat them. it is not like megaman'esque that it has a weakness of some sort like crocodile and water.

What i wonder is what Whitebeard's power is. It must be really powerful than the Rokushiki style that CP9 is using and must have Haki on it.

Another thing is, probably that Vice Admiral Garp would be thinking of betraying the marines. He is pretty strong so i don't think he would have a problem against his conrades.

Also why is the government is not with the execution? It seems like it is only the entire Marine force is on Maryjoa. Not even the powerful CP10 is there (the one in the opening song with black suit guys and an old guy with a samurai on the back)
I wonder what their roles are as well.

Anyway i dont think this is the last arc that many people believe since there are so many powerful characters on the list. what do you guys think?

Oh yah i forgot that. About Gold D. Roger.
But probably Garp took him as his own grandson so that no one would bully him for being the son of the pirate king. He did mention that the pirate king's son who is yet to be born bears no sin. So as an old friend he took Gold Roger's last words and took care of Ace.

But i wonder about the name though. Gold D. Ace?
I dont like how it sounds. Portgas D. Ace would be better though.

Dude i just love it when Whitebeard pirates and several others rush in like that to take down Maryjoa.
Another thing is the pirates are all in alliance with whitebeard though.

I wonder who was the traitor who opened the gates of justice though? Hmm sounds fishy. Garp did not even left his spot though.

Another thing is at page 7 which Vice Admiral Garp wearing the suits of the CP10. I just love it. That probably explains why he can teach Coby and Helmetto the Ryokushiki techniques. I just love how Eichiro Oda gives us spoilers on it.

I wonder who will side with whitebeard or not. Another thing is that Red hair shanks is not involved with that attack. Sad i was expecting his naval force to join the war. Seems like Oda has other plans for this superpower in the future.

Probably the main basis of Ryokushiki techniques is self determination to become strong which luffy did not get when he was little. Coby excelled at that point since he has the urge to become strong while Luffy depends too much on the natural bloodline strength he has and also his devil fruit abilities.

Oh man this is sweet i just can't wait for the next manga!

After seeing the current developments...

like Ace got free'd, Whitebeard decided to fight till the very end and whole hell is breaking loose at marine HQ is it safe to say that the war is nearly over?

NO IT ISN'T

We have yet to see the shichibukai clash nor is the 3 Admirals gettting defeated... seeing that there are no capable fighters on whitebeard's side except:

whitebeard
Ace
Luffy
Ivanknov
the scissors dude (too lazy to check the name)
Jinbei
and whitebeard pirates
Crocodile and buggy are unstable

so we really dont know what will happen next!



with their forces they'll be obliterated in to time... unless of course the have some "back up"

so.. i think these groups will support them and finish the war once and for all...

1. Revolutionary Dragon's army
2. Red-hair pirates of course including Shanks FTW
3. The re-united straw-hat pirates woohoo w/ Reighlei
4. some unknown party or black beard makes his move!



Ohh and BTW in the last page of 573 Akainiku (one of the admirals) tried to kill luffy but Ace took the blow... T_T

now after seeing that it was just WTF! o_O

soo if Ace dies all of their struggling to save him would have gone to waste!

It seems Eichiro Oda is still planning something nasty for the heavily emphasized "one of the strongest" guy in the series.

So it seems that Eiichiro Oda has set us up to a 2 year time jump. I actually never thought OP would do one... thoughts on this? Predictions?

He's spent the last couple of chapters establishing training spots for each individual and in the latest chapter he explains Luffy's message to everyone.

I wonder if he's gonna do the time jump now or later... because OP won't be releasing for the next 4 weeks >_<

The water transportation tubes looks like the ones from Futurama except it was made of water instead of a glass tube.
Sanji's reaction after seeing all mermaids in the Cove was at best the funniest part in this chapter.
The way he expressed his emotions made me feel sorrow for him...hahahaha

Also, i don't feel like the crew fought a very strong opponent yet. They look overwhelming but no one looks to be of an admirals level. I agree with you Kimnoa about The Straw Hat Crew vs. The New Fishman Crew was a mismatch. I thought at least somebody would get injured by those steroid-pill-popping fishmen. Maybe Nami, Robin, or Ussop, but not even them. I mean really, come on they are not all super human, well except for Frankie, but he is more of a cyeborge though than a human. It kinda gives the impression that the Straw Hats are invincible, which they are not and that is why I shock my head discust after reading the fight at the end.
