How do you feel about leaving your old group behind?
for example:
you are in high school. then in few days, you will be graduating. In that school, you were known. you were famous for lots of things.. When you're in college you know that all of those in there are different from you. But you also know that entering college is a good thing because after graduating college, you can have a stable life. But then again, All of those that you are leaving behind will truly miss you while the ones whom you are coming with are not the types that you were with once before. When you entered college, people are not close to you, all the things that you were in high school are not known...:17:
What will you do to cope up with those new people? How will you act towards them...
[In just one more post, and few more days, I'll be purple. XD . I wonder how It'll be]

That condition was hard yet seems that you were having one of my current problem....since I'm graduating this school year.
Still don't know what to do

:17: Graduation is near to our group too.. :17:
Hmm. But I guess, everything starts from nothing right? In college, just be yourself. Don't try to be someone that you are not. Hmmm.. That's my plan but still. Wah!! :(
I already know that graduation is a moving forward thing but its also a parting time for all the things we did. :( I just wish, even if my friends and I are not able to see each other as we do now, we still have some kind of communication...

it's really hard parting with those friends you had ever since you've gone to school.. like in my case, i have these classmates/friends that i have been together with from grade school till i finish high school..
meeting new ones are great.. you just have to be yourself and everything will go fine..

naaaaaah~ I have experienced parting from my friends.
Graduation isn't the end.
Before our HS graduation I thought that I would die without them. I cried so many nights! LOL.
I have a lot of close friends in HS and some of them are my classmates since elementary.
You will just realize that it's not that sad in college because you are busy of something.
Your HS friends will communicate to you through chats, texts etc.
You will just see each other on sembreak and Christmas break.

Well I... I've moved two times in my life, so I've lost many friends because of that, ugh.
So our group become their group, those who I left there... I no longer belong to that group. And I'm afraid to take a contact, I'm scared; What if they don't wanna talk to me? What if they don't wanna see me anymore?
So I'm just alone here in my new home city... I did get couple new friends, but. It's not the same thing.
It's sad... when I try to talk with my friends, the conversation goes like:
'hi'
'hello'
'how are you?'
'I'm fine. you?'
'I'm fine too'
and then begans the awful silence... ;___; my head goes blank and I can't think what should we talk about.
...damn. I should just throw my fear away and go talk to them, but. hmm.
I dunno.
hard situation.
and I'm just pathetic loser. u____u

Umm you might find my situation strange.
But I am the only guy who experienced 7 schools over highschool and elementary only.
Financial reasons so dont ask.
Its hard to identify what school this guy/girl who is calling or talking to me.
But deep in my mind (do i know you?)
I just cant ditch the person or rub them like that in the face.
So i dont know.
Another thing is my lifestyle.
I am a random kind of guy, anything under the sun.
I switch hobbies by just a flick of a finger.
I can actually do a lot of stuff.
downside i get bored so easily.
So i switch groups.
Switch aliases.
Switch tasks.
Switch moods.
har har.

hmm...I am like the person who is afraid of change or that I do not want to change.Just like when I entered college. In the first few months I find it hard to communicate or socialize with my new classmates because I am still thinking of my HS life. But for somehow I got over it

When I graduated from HighSchool, I thought the friendship I have kept with my best friends will continue to connect us. Thus, I was able to approach college with a positive attitude. But we hardly kept in touch with each other and we only did once in a while by playing a game (Dota).
I've graduated from college last September. My close friends are now either busy at work or abroad.
Strangely, I don't feel sad or anything. I don't think the case was that I didn't care about them. People come and go... I guess that's how I feel

When I moved up here to where I live now, I left behind my old group of friends. I don't think I've ever readjusted, despite my best efforts to make new friends.

hm....
when I will graduate from jr. high, I'll go into senior high that is under the same foundation...so my friends will be the same (mostly)...
but when I need to face a new place, new people, etc that is new...I will be a little coward..unless people there welcome me...
if no people welcome me, I'll remain silent and that's not a big problem for me...
I'm used of it...

It's okay. I don't have any close friends either. But, leaving the old memories and old
comrades, makes me sad...

It's never easy switching/leaving groups... You'd had to start all over again! But it won't be a big factor if you're friends with everyone in the class I guess... You'll find another group soon enough but the Memories of your old group would forever be memorable. =^.^=

don't feel too bad cos the friends i care about leaving i meet all the time outside of school and plus quite a few of them are going to the same uni as mehopefully i'll be going to uni this year!!!) and anyway it's always good to meet new people so i'm just gonna have fun- been a bit of a loner, can't stand staying in groups larger than ten so wqhenever this happens i usually leave unless one of my best friends are there... anyway, back to the topic, nah i don't mind too much

The moment goes really quickly so you don't have time to gather your thoughts... Personally speaking, I felt horrible when I left my group back in Grade school.
After I graduated from High School I had to leave my group once again but I found out that I didn't really have to leave them.. So we still hang around having fun and enjoying life.

This is my senior year ^_^ I plan on going to a University that almost no one has applied to. Therefore, I know for a fact that I'll be leaving my friends behind. (Well. My best friend is also planning on attending my first-choice university so if we get in, we're going to buy an apartment together! Hehe.)
How do I feel? Hm. Well. I'm not going to be leaving them behind really. Like, sure, we won't talk as much as we do today but I know that we'll all definitely keep in touch and hang out alot! We've gone to great distances for each other so I'm sure just jumping on a bus to see each other is nothing compared to the stuff that we've been up to since elementary school. ;)

I will go to my old school during free times to visit my friends who are from lower batches, and I will have outings with my old batch mates at least weekly.
I study in a small school, and all my classmates are going to be my classmates for the next year and it has been that way since my first year here, so I'm pretty close with some of my classmates that they're like my siblings because we grew up together. I'm sure nobody's willing to say goodbye just yet. However, there will be a major change in our lifestyle, since once we graduate highschool, we will all be going to different colleges (no college in this school). The day won't just be the same with a new school, and not getting to meet those people you were used to seeing everyday for like what? 15-17 years?. Yeah.:nitex:
