Which did you prefer... anime or game?

Valkyria Chronicles... if you played the game and watched the anime, which did you prefer? Personally I preferred the game.

Anime for me.. It tells more about the characters than it does in the games.
Devil May Cry is an exception to that..^^

It depends really, if an anime I've seen is made into a game I'll play it... If it's a game into an anime, I'll try to watch it and see how they are similar

The stuff i play rarely is made into anime. Well okay, that's not necessarily true when Digimon originated as a game similar to those little virtual pets and Zone of the Enders had a couple of anime series, but generally i prefer the games. There is an exception though, and that's the series i just mentioned: Digimon. I liked the games but the second season of Digimon is just so ****ing hilarious in an utterly depraved way that the games never would try to reproduce.
...maybe that wasn't the word i wanted to use there.

Anime you get all the story you could get with a game but you don't have to do any of the hard work

In almost every case I prefer the original form. Whatever it is its usually better :3 There are a few cases where ill prefer the game/anime based on the other version, but generally the second incarnation is made to milk some money out of it. That being said i do enjoy both the games and the anime versions of a franchise in almost all cases. But they're both subject to seperate judgements. If an anime is good its good, and if a game is good its good. Despite what its about or anything lol :3
