As for the trypophobia (which I just realized I spelled incorrectly in my initial post), well, it's rather difficult to explain. Essentially it's any pattern of holes that have things inside such as seeds. Honeycombs are also problematic. If the seeds are lightly colored like in honeydew melons then it won't bother me at all for some reason. Dark colored seeds, however, will trigger it. My head will become fuzzy and begin to throb, my vision will blur, and I'll experience this terribly itchy sensation all over. The heads of certain flowers will do it as well. For a great example go to Google and type in the words "lotus girl."

Now that's tough Ceres... Now that I know its Trypophobia then thus it also means your also afraid of skin holes? With your fear of skin diseases that would really be hard. But phobias are all psychological and has been proven that in some cases can be cured. Just hope that you recover from that soon.


And, yes, garden gnomes! Those things are absolutely, certifiably creepy! I will never have them in my garden, that's for sure. You must tell us all your fear since you've mentioned that it's even stranger than mine. I can't imagine what could be more abnormal though.

You know... I find it kinda... "CUTE" that you actually don't like Garden Gnomes... I wonder what will happen if you ever get to a beautiful garden but suddenly saw lots of G.Gnomes. Ahahaha! But still it's rather a cute fear.

As for my fear well... I guess you haven't read my past post here but... My fear actually is... Finding true love... or To be exact someone loving me for just plain being me... No strings attached just plain pure love for me. Now don't get me wrong here. I'm not afraid of getting hurt or loosing that love... It's something deeper that bothers me...

I'm not afraid of trivial things like my surroundings, the dark, insects, animals etc. (excluding the wilderness >_>). I was afraid of sleeping when I was a kid... yes afraid of sleeping. The reason was a weird dream I had, I saw a distorted world. I was walking alone in some arid lands in that dream and the sky was filled with tombstones, like an inverted graveyard with... clouds, very disturbing. Even the withered trees on the ground were weird, it was like they had faces. Then I noticed a man wearing black clothes in front of me not too far, but I couldn't see his face, and he was pointing to the sky, when I saw what he was pointing there was this red rain falling from afar and corpses began dropping down nearby me.

After that I woke up and cried in my bed like a little girl till morning... my parents couldn't hear me because they were asleep and I was afraid to go to them because it was dark and everything in the house looked scary. I dunno what made me see that dream, it's not like I was watching thrillers or playing video games at that age.

Maybe I'm still afraid because even today I have hard time sleeping.

i fear all sorts of worms(ascaris, earth worms, leeches, hook worms, flukes etc.) also geckos and snakes. but the irony of these, im taking bachelor of medical laboratory and sciences(medical technology) and well deal with this stuff.. but i dont worry that much if i have gloves.

@ ragnarok I was afraid of sleeping when I was younger also.my reason was because I couldn't accept the fact that I can't remember the moment I go to sleep. Freaked me out so bad I didn't sleep for days. Still to this day sometimes I will think about it and it bothers me lol.

my biggest fear is never being satisfied. I am a pretty laid back guy. I sometimes worry that one day I wont have or do enough to find peace. That really bothers me. I have a few friends who are so unhappy with themselves and they think its because they aren't doing enough or don't have enough. No matter how hard they work or how much they get they are still unhappy. I understand wanting to have goals and plans but when you meet those goals and plans and still are unhappy I think there is something else wrong. I just fear being in that sort of situation. I feel like it every once in a while and quickly get out of it.

I'm terrified of hights. I live in AZ, but you can't pay me to go to the Grand Canyon. Hell no! I also am afraid of roaches. They are so gross. I can't even step on them because they are crunchy!!

Oh yes and Freddie Kruger. To this day I can't watch the original Nightmare on Elm Street. Watched it when I was like 8 at a friends house and to this day I think he still wants to get me! The Johnny Depp and Tina death scenes haunt me.
