Fund Raising for OS using merchandise?

I thought about it yesterday and i had this idea where OS would sell anime merchandise for funds. Is it possible? Like you know, we design shirts and sell em to members for a reasonable fee? Or memorabilias and such? I dont know if its possible but you know just a suggestion. :emhh06:

P.S. If you guys do make a t-shirt id certainly 100% buy one.

@Homie, I can't stand zip up hoodies. I prefer pull-over by far. I honestly do think this is a great idea though for making some money for the site. It could work on a points system too lol. You donate money, get points, spend points on OS merchandise! Only problem would be it could tend to be a hassle as we'd have to get the merchandise made, and it would need to be stored somewhere etc. (But I really want an OS hoodie now... perhaps I'll make my own!) Merchandise would also spread word of OS to people who see it, increasing site population... money+free advertisement = win-win for OS.

We already have OS T-shirts and OS stickers but I do not know where to buy it. I want a hoodie or a notebook.

I think this idea certainly has potential. I don't think I would buy a t-shirt or hoodie only because I don't wear clothing like that, but if other OS items (like a notebook or something) were available I would make a purchase.

Has anyone ever heard of or used CafePress.com (http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/sell/index.aspx?area=learn&page=learn)? I'm not particularly familiar with the set-up but it seems easy enough. If we used this site there wouldn't be any need for someone storing all the products at their house, and it offers a wide variety of products for people to choose from ^.^ Thoughts?
