I used to feel that way too, (The liking of movement and color thing *not the H...XP) whan I was kid that is. But you'll learn to get used to it after you've read at least 2 - 4 whole complete series non-stop. When you do, the addiction starts to simple just burns in your mind until you learn to love manga....hahaha

You should try reading the Fullmetal Alchemist manga...*two thumbs and my toes up!!!!

I have the same feeling for the Bleach manga.
It's like it switches from climax mode to filler mode repeatedly throughout the entire friggin series... I it very annoying to use readers.

Faster than a kiss... the story its just to warm how they supress their feelings because of their relationship at the point when almost everything looks stupid

Girlfriends. My goodness. It's the best shoujo-ai manga I have ever read.

The characters' relationship is just too adorable - and believable. So much tension. So much awesome.

Some of my favorite manga are (in no particular order of course):

1) World Embryo, started reading this one a little over a year ago but I've been hooked since the very first chapter. The protagonists are likable, and story is respectable.
2) Big Order, a relatively new manga that I began reading when I saw it had the same artist as Mirai Nikki. The story is a little far-fetched, but the powers that some of the people have are awesome. The main character's power is definitely my favorite since it's meant to take over the world.
3) Denpa Kyoushi, just too funny to describe. Started reading it a couple weeks ago.
4) Unbalance X Unbalance, I'm not really sure how this one fell into my lap actually. I remember seeing it before, but didn't begin reading it until last month. The story is actually pretty good.
5) Onihime Vs., by the same people as Unbalance X Unbalance and that's probably why I started reading it.

There are other ones that I read, Naruto, Freezing, Bleach, Claymore and the like, but they aren't my favorites.
