Best Death[Possible Spoilers]

errr I dont think this is a thread... and I've been on the forums for a while so I think I would've remembered a thread like this lol >.<

Well... for lack of better wording. The "Best Death" is the death that is most memorable for you. Something that made you cry but the death transcended something far more then just a life passing away.

I want you to tell me the death of an anime character that engraved itself into your mind. A monumental moment xD

Lockon Stratos- In the last battle he takes part of, he goes for an all or nothing attempt using the remnants of a laser in order to take revenge on Ali Al Sarshes. Right before the explosion he expresses his regrets for not changing the world the way he wanted too.. and he points his finger to the world .. fitting for the sniping character.

I believe all can agree that Lelouch's death was brilliant. He took all the world's hate... and threw it away with his own sacrifice. His last act was something that I think I'll never forget.

I'm sorry that I believe this but, I absolutely REFUSE to believe Lelouch is alive. Why would you ruin such a great ending? "but c.c. was talking to herself at the end of.." PEOPLE TALK TO THEMSELVES. Its not that I dislike Lelouch... its not like I wished he died throughout the season (all those extreme pro- suzaku people xD) but seriously that ending all hinged on the fact that Lelouch is dead. That means not alive. That means not breathing. That means that all those feelings were not fake.

Not alot of the anime I watch have deaths of important characters in them though. Cuz i mean the only people allowed to die in battle anime (like naruto, onepiece) are the not really important ones and then in a harems people dont die. end of discussion

When whats his name dies, the one with the daughter. And she's crying like "Daddy can do his work like this" begging everyone to stop, and asking her mom what's going on. And a tear rolls down General Armstrongs face, while he's holding it in, still at attention (saluting). That really got to me. The one in the regular FMA not so much, but the way it was redone in Brotherhood brought a tear to my eye. One stray tear, didn't fall, but damnit it was there! Haha.

Honestly, not a lot of animes I tend to watch have death scenes. Those that do are typically main stream so you guys have already stated them. One that caught me off-guard though was in Simoun: When Mamiina dies. It just feels so wrong, right after she finally became friends with Rodoreamon again ; ;. Why did she have to die?!

I have to agree with you. we have the same thoughts on Lelouch's Death. But we can't blame him. He did that to tell the world that Zero is truly a Hero. He made the entire World his Enemy and he maid his best and childhood friend Suzaku to dress as Zero and kill him to prove that the most evil person in the world "Lelouch" is dead and was killed by Zero.

Otonashi's death was a tear jerker for me because after finding his new life helping other people, comes a situation where he needs to sacrifice himself to save other people and not forgetting about other people after his death(organ donation)

Yui's disappearing might be a happy ending but i had a hard time breathing in that scene feels like I need to cry already. One of the most touching scenes
