~HAPPY BIRTHDAY OS!!!~

One year ago - two lone Otaku's struggled to make their dream a reality. It was a simple dream - Make Anime freely available to all without any advertisements or paid membership. Create a place where all could gather under the magical umbrella of Anime, united in their love and common interests.

They were not sure if it would last one month - let alone a whole year. But the site survived as it took its first wobbly steps and fought for survival.

One year where we have grown to over 12,000 members and 1000 anime titles.
One year where we have out-grown and crashed our servers, upgraded and improved
One year where you - our faithful members and uploaders have stood by us through our downtime and broken/missing videos and missing sections, supporting us in spirit and financially and here we stand together to celebrate ...

So lets raise our glasses of Champagne (again... make that soda for the under-aged) and toast the site that we have all grown to love and cherish, and a toast also to all of us members and uploaders who make OS what she is today
(By the way - I am convinced OS is a female as she only answers to Jim)

I believe that when Crunchyroll became intolerable beyond reason (due to it removing almost ALL of it's series), Otaku-Streamers probably gave rise. It was fairly big when I got here (with a large amount of series, some I had seen, some I hadn't), but it's only grown more and more as time went on.

This site has saved me from hours of boredom.

Thank you, OS. Thank you, Jim. Thank you, Bindu. Thank you, Chiva. Thank you all admins, all donators, all uploaders, all those who have helped endorse, support, and spread the wonder that is OS.

I will happily support this site in the future, provided I have the bandwidth to use it's bounty (I consider myself charitable towards foundations and groups that I am part of or support wholeheartedly, but seeing as I don't have a job, I'm usually trying to save up).
