Exciting Times!!!
First of all - we have to once again thank all our generous Donators for the heeding our call for extra donations this month. Due to the more than average response, we have now been able to upgrade our dedicated server to a much better one with only a slight cost increase.
We have been running certain parts on the new server parallely for the last week and you may have already noticed an improvement in the streaming speed and a drastic reduction in net.stream.errors.
We have also got our domain name finally transferred, so... tonight we are going to switch totally to the new server!!!!
Once the new server is online - we will unveil a whole heap of new and exciting features which Jim has been working on - one which has been a request from our members for a long time *wink*. However, the next 24 hours is going to be the difficult part (especially for our Admin - Jbluey) so we need the support of all our members to pls be patient, should you experience a few glitches in the forums or while streaming.
Most importantly - if you are unable to access our site via otaku-streamers.com, pls dont go away or panic - but log in via otaku-streamers.net.
One last thing - we will also be disabling our registration of new members for the next 24 hrs, so if your new and want to join, pls do not walk away in disgust. Pls come back by Saturday 28th (GMT+0800) and join us. You wont regret it - we really are a nice bunch of people. XD
