problem with an ad (gives virus)

I don't really use any other sites for watching anime or dramas, since I'm pretty happy with the amount provided here.

Recently there was something on the site that triggered my laptop to get a virus though. I think it's most likely an ad that I didn't pay enough attention to. I didn't get to see the ad before I got this massive pop up saying my laptop was infected and then a whole mess began. I've fixed the problem and now I scan my laptop whenever I watch videos after a certain amount of time. For the most part this works, but since I really really like this site, I wanted to let you guys know. I'm not sure how you can test or check for viruses from independent ad companies but I figured I'd try anyway.

we are happy(and bewildered?) by your report.

in case you do not know, this site do not have any ads of any kind whatsoever, so its really weird that you got a pop-up like that. although we have heard of isolated cases before.

if its not too much to ask, was this the only site you were on on your browser?

the admins will definitely check on this, please continue your support ^^

yep this was the only thing open at the time. I found it odd too. thats why I mentioned that it must have been something I missed. (I guessed an ad but it was most likely something else, and I'll check out that post avich just linked me now).

For the most part, I can say 110% that aside from that, I don't have any other issues with the site and enjoy it a lot. it's a definite relief from sites like cru----- I'm sure you know what I'm referring to.
