Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

It is known as the perferct game for a very good reason, there is not a game better out there and I completely agree that it is indeed the perfect game.

Also another reason I love my PS3 is cause my PC broke about a month ago and I can only serf the web and more importantly, stream anime, because of the PS3's brouser lol.

Rockband, tried on PS/2 and Xbox but playing on friends ps3 is by far the best for with the downloadable content as well. The only problem is finding someone to sing that doesn't sound like a cat being strangled by a maladjusted accordion player trying to use their feet to play the fiddle on a guitar built out of an old chalkboard.

We had and completed devil may cry 4 on xbox, it really was a great game though. Music was awesome

We have guitar hero world tour - solo guitar pack as cant afford the whole deal yet but I chose guitar hero over Rockband. I don't know if anyone watches Zero Punctutation reviews by Yahtzee - BEST reviews ever - but basically Guitar Hero gets a moral win over Rockband due to release dates and costs etc.

A game you are ought to play is Valkyria Chronicles... it has the most stunning visuals that will make any otaku shiver with joy.. on top of that its a really good strategy/rpg game that has a very good story and one of the best soundtracks ever.
The anime based upon the game is also set to be released this year

Honestly, I can say that the only reason I would ever like the PS3 is because that's the only system FF13 comes out on. Who cares that its been cooped up in development for god knows how long? I want it, and I'd pay the sumwhat 400 bucks just to play one game.
That aside, it has an awesome blue-ray player, considering a player of the same quality would easily be 200 bucks.

Metal Gear Solid 4 was just an epic game, I was so drawn into the story and beautiful graphics that I totally forgot this was a game haha.

DMC 4 is really intense, specially once you unlock most of the moves >.<

I should try out that Valkyria rpg... lols ^_^

Yea! it looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! and from what I've heard from reviews of the demo that fighting system has gone back to the more old school combat system... and the best thing no random fights!!!


And yea FFXIII is scheduled for both 360 and ps3.. This is not meant as a fanboy comment but I wonder how they are going to do it for the 360, since they have been saying that FFXIII is going to utilize the full potential of the ps3, and it's really no secret that the cell processors are serious powerhouses!

Xbox doesn't have much rpgs, it has mostly like racing and shooting games - which aren't my interests.

On the other hand PS has exclusive and some of the best RPGs that have graced its generations(ps1,ps2).

Of course, PS3 doesn't have much titles for now due to the fact that making games worth about TWENTY TWO GB is hard.

playstation 3 is expensive and they failed to target middle market... only people who buy that thing is the rich dudes on first class... or just a person or gal who uses life savings on a console... i dont like ps3 much myself but when the slim version arrives maybe i might reconsider

Well, seeing as this is an anime forum, I'd want to say most people here would tend to lean towards more RPG-type games but who knows *shrugs*.

I also wouldn't go out on a limb and say Metal Gear Solid 4 is perfect, but it definitely is quite a well done game.

Here's some other games that people here might have missed (again you might not be interested in some of these but who knows):
