Compadibility with the Wii browser?

after looking over the mobile otakustreamers thread, and playing LoZ for hours on end, i began to think.. Youtube is, or at least used to be, not sure if it is anymore, compatible with the wii! As FAR AS I KNOW, it has version 7 or 8 of every flash viewer that you could possibly need. is there a way to have a toned-down player so that we could surf os on the wii and view our animes on our TV?

I have used my ps3 to view anime on OS many times, it works like a charm. But the graphics aren't all that different from when you connect your tv to your comp.

I'll try that next time with the old browser.. it runs Opera so there shouldn't be any problems, but know for a fact newplayer wont work.
