I was just wondering how many of the Otaku's here have heard of Second Life account or have at least heard of it. If you havent heard of it you can check out an Description in detail here= http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Life
My Main Avatars name is Philly Haefnir if anyone who has an account wants to hangout in-game hehe.
Its really an amazing community...the possibilities for social interaction, roleplaying, and cultural experience between Our otaku community especially is almost limitless hehe:biggrin:

I played SL for a very very short time, didnt interest me that much, the learning curve was way to steep and it kept crashing for some reason... I gave up on it in the end lol.

Mmmm true....SL has fairly easy to use construction tools but it takes practice to adapt to them....id say that due to psychological primise involved with interaction on such a realistic scale....it can get emotional in some situations....overall id say some people can find entertainment in SL and others cant, but i think everyone should at least try it once hehe

i`ve got an sl account...but i ``play`` sl from time to time the lag is a killer but it is true the possibilities for social interaction, roleplaying, and cultural experience are almoust limitless:D though sl is more a chat whit graphics then a game:D

True. The Technical term for SL would be an Metaverse, its not really a game in the sense that there's no real goal or way to win or lose.
