New Updates on OS

In our effort to reach perfection (What? We're not there yet?) noting down a few new things added and improved in the last week

Modifications in OS player
-Skin changed
-Watermark moved to upper left side of the player
-Fixed seek/time bug
-Toggle function added to resize video to fit screen or to use its original size (can be found at the left side of the full screen toggle button )
-Little buffering animation added

Minor changes on the website
-Added OmouKajuu banner, right beside the donation banner
-Watchlog link added on User CP module (can be found on the front page, left side)

Future changes that might be implemented
-Arcade : We find that despite our requests players are still scoring unrealistically high scores (0_0 we are not accusing anyone of cheating) and a lot of people have given up playing coz there is no longer a challenge. Therefore Arcade scores will be reset every week
- We are trying to work on an OS newsletter, both to bring back our old inactive members as well as keep our current members up-to-date with new anime titles, etc.
If anyone would like to volunteer small snippets/reviews on the recent animes, pls pm me. Of course what we finally add in will be at the discretion of the Editor .. Me :4:

when streaming on my net book its is chopey ... don't know why ... however when i used the new old player it was not ..... i also recently tried the old old player and it also worked ... is anyone else having problems with the new new player ... bare in mind this is only with my net book

Okay - now that I am thoroughly confused ....
1) You dont have a problem with the old, original player?
2 You dont have problems with the new player before the change?
3) You have a problem with the new player after the modifications made over the weekend?

Pls explain what you mean by choppy? Is the picture not flowing smoothly and stopping and starting? Did you try to pause it and let it buffer a few seconds before playing?

Also resetting rank in the arcade is a good idea, but perhaps doing it on a weekly basis is a bit much, anyway I'm sure you guys will find a good solution :)

Well, the new player is good I give a score of 9.5
I''ve found no problems so far...
Plus the seek bar doesn't cover the subs unlike the previous ones...

We never ignore anyone's request. The action may get delayed due to lack of manpower or overload of other stuff, but they are never ignored!!

Even the outrageously ridiculous ones get looked at - if only for some light humorous, stress relief :18:

i cant really find an exact word on how to express it but its really really cool (the new player)!!

but its not like the old old player that you can pause it even though its still buffering.. (sorry to add stress!!) but streaming in the latest player is fast and cool!! >_<

We really dont want to, howerver, games exist coz they present a fun challenge and no on is playing anymore on the OS arcade because there is no longer a challege. When the 4th player's score is around 5000 and 3rd, 2nd & 1st place is in the 100,000s, people dont have motivation and dont bother coz they can never beat them

Maybe we will just get rid of the high unrealistic scores? We will take it under consideration again ... nothing has been done yet :1:

And for the high scores, why not have like high score for this day/week/month/year, and links to old high scores?that way scores can be reset but not forgotten:1:

Whats up with that OS Gateway page? Every time I go to OS I get the page or if I don't refresh a page for x # of min I get it. Its getting to be a hassle and the redirect directs me to a white blank page.

Have you checked for updates, installed all the .net frameworks for windows, flash, java runtime, java plug-in, silverlight, moonlight, checked for browser plug-ins, a codec pack, etc.?
