That's exactly the reason why I won't tell them, because even though I'm old enough to make my own decisions on the matter, they still wouldn't understand and would do everything they could to keep us apart.

So, it's a lot easier to live under the same roof without strife and sneak out to see him. They love to pull the,"You won't as long as you live under this roof," act, so when I move out, it doesn't matter if they know, and they have the right to at least be informed.

Hmmmm ... dont know if I could get away with that in my country (its tiny and everyone knows everyone else and they end tattling on others) but I do like the attitude of wanting to live without the strife. Sometimes its just not worth the arguments and the bad feelings. Its just better to keep the peace and then tell them the truth when you move out

I liked a girl, after a lot of thinking finally gathered the courage to tell her how I feel... was thanked, and rejected. We became friends which was fun, and she would then tell me her problems with current boyfriend and relationships... which was... not so fun.
I loved her but decided to try and just be supportive, since she was going through a lot of things. In the end just felt used as I would be a dumping ground for her problems and then she'd go have fun with other people.
The whole relationship was confusing, frustrating and painful... but I learnt a lot, and it forced me to look closely at how I see myself and my relation with other people. However in the end what I gained from that is invaluable life experience, it may have left me a little more cynical and jaded but I know I am stronger for having dealt with it.

It may not work out as you plan but taking that step will always lead to new paths (I wonder if I heard that from an anime... meh)
So anyway to sum up, just go for it! Be confident and be yourself!

After watching Air gear last month, I wanted to try some moves that they did on the show itz so cool. So I bought some roller blades last week and went to our clubhouse in our park at 1:30 A.M. to try the tricks. Then I Air geared (I jumped along the bench then got a really bad landing) the bench and sprained my leg. But I still wanna do the air gear thingy when my sprain heals. (damn roller blades, I wish AT's are sold here in my country!).

I can't stand to see myself succeed so i am always doing just enough to pass or dropping out of electives and such.
I tend to force people away by making myself seem like worse of a person than i really am because i can't stand the thought of actually letting myself be happy.
Every time i start to enjoy myself I remember all the people who i was close to that have died, (ex. father, brother, one of my favorite teachers)
When people try to help me get through any kind of depression or what ever it is i may have i turn questions back on them so that i don't have to feel uncomfortable.
I have pointless obsessions such as my radio volume has to be on a multiple of 5, picture frames have to be straight, but i could care less about how clean something is like my room is a mess but every picture frame is perfectly straight.
I can't eat at buffets because all i can think about is what people could have done to the food like little kids picking their nose then fingering the pizza and putting it back or whatever.
I think overly optimistically with everything then give up before even attempting.
Every time i get depressed i go in my room and watch anime or play games for long periods of time without leaving the house.(ex. got depressed in high school and watched every season of Ranma 1/2 including movies in that same week from monday to saturday and i finished it all)
When i watched Full Moon wo Sagashite i got so depressed i couldn't walk until i finished watching the whole series.
And the last thing for now is that the only reason i feel safe saying any of this is because i know none of the people who read this have any way of knowing who i actually am, and have no way of figuring that out since i don't put any kind of contact info online.

lmao, I have the same obsession with volume... it HAS to be on multiples of 5, but it's not just my radio, it's also my tv, or anything with a volume control really. I also count EVERYTHING. for instance, when walking through town I count every building, every window in that building, every step in each sidewalk square and each step total... I love numbers >.>;;

I experience deja vu frequently. In fact, the last time I experienced it was just two hours ago. I was listening to running with the devil by Van Halen and watching my brother play Final Fantasy VIII on the other end of the room. Then I suddenly had the feeling I had seen that before, and then I remembered I had a dream with the exact scene in it. Creepy part? I remember experiencing the deja vu in the dream as well.

Slashing my wrist crossed my mind once. Then sanity took hold, and now I keep such thoughts far from my mind as best as I can.
