Happy Birthday board or something

my suggestion is that i think it would be better to see people's name who has his/her birthday today in the homepage.... We usually don't know who are the other people here in OS so i think this is best way to socialize with other people here.... its just a suggestion...

Personally I like your idea :) and I'm sure it would generate a lot of smiles.
Unfortunately I doubt it could be done, I'm guessing that info's such as birthdays etc. given when creating the account is confidential. So the only way for this to work would be everybody giving this information directly to however would be incharge of scripting it and agreeing for it to be shared in public on the website.

Perhaps the birhday could be changed to sign-up date on OS :D then it could work!(even though that would generate a lot people with "birthday" january the first when CR gave us the finger ^^"

This board, if my memory serves me right, has a birthday greeting function but like jadelicious said, it compromises security for our users.

The sign-up date on OS on the other hand is a great idea :)

Yep agree with Chiva's & Jade's comments. Most people dont give any other info other than their name, not even their country is completed and a lot of those who do, choose to not let it be shared with the public

Jade : That is funny ... yep considering OS came on line on 29th December and CR showed us the back door on 1st Jan, the maj of the personal OS anniversary dates will be on or around that time :1:

yep... i agree with having a birthday board.. and the birthday board should be put at the main page of OS..
