I can almost always relate to a story or some characters from it in some way, it is just how the human mind works.. naturally some stories are harder to relate too and others are spot on

I like to think that most of the anime series have small life lessons in their stories, that's why every time when I watch I can find a small resemblence with situations in real life. Sometimes I see in the anime another ways of seeing a certain situation which can help me clarify my thoughts :P

I kinda know what your saying, but for me I black out usually when watching anime hahaha (mind goes numb and i'm an instant recording-human :), too bad I can't really do that when I have to listen to some mono-tone teacher in class XD)
