What is/are the game(s) that gave you nostalgia?

I'm sure there is/are that game(s) that brings back your memories like playing it with a friend or a game that was once mainstream when you were a child and you grew fond of.

Mine was the simple times when a 8 year old boy would play pokemon with his friends or that FFVII that I spent playing hours and hours with my cousin.

Pokemon was very exciting when I was small. Playing red version on my gameboy while my brother played version and then trading pokemon was the best.
then pokemon stadium was also a good game full of memories. (mini games that is)

Zelda and the the first tekken :P Didn't have any consoles back then so I remember playing these all the time at a friends house :)

Oh geez.. I remember this game for such a long time and surprisingly.. I still have it.

Little Nemo the Dreammaster. I loved that game so much, I got the creeps when it came to battling the bosses.

My first PS1 game, i got it from my aunt when i was four. The game's title was 'Spyro the Dragon'

i would have to say...kingdom heart's. i was 9 and it was when my brother still lived here ^^ we used to always play it and i would watch him play it more often then what not xD but i was great at it as well. that was before he had to move away so...i'm never letting kingdom hearts go and i'll always be a fan of the series..whenever i hear the opening song..it reminds me of the good times with my big brother..and all of the time's we played and he protected me..yep..a great memory ^^

Xengears is good to.. but the thing that made nostalgia is Tomba II. in PS1 ... so eager to complete all of it and never have the chance to complete it.. huhu

Harvest Moon Back to Nature

It makes me happy every time i played it.... (btw i played for days... xD)

One time it made my Ps1 overheat.... But after a few days of letting it rest inside a cabinet... I worked again properly.... :emh22:

it would be tetris and super mario. as much as i can remember, it was a craze during my preschool years and my older brother and sister were addicted to it ^_^ during those days all we wished is to play, play, and play :))

I really really have a dumb but intense attachment to FF7 and FF8. mostly because FF8 was the game where my sister and I actually got along for a few hours without trying to hit eachother with controls or strangle eachother with wires.

Aside from that, I like games with storylines so when I first encountered these, I enjoyed them wholeheartedly.

I did enjoy a few streetfighter games too so whenever I see the older versions of them I get all "whoa dude thats epic. let me play."

Animal Crossing
You'd be surprised at how competitive that game could be.
I remember playing it with my freinds and cousins and everytime someone got something rare it would be a bloodbath :) It was lots of fun though.
For independent gameplay Legend of Zelda collectors addition for gamecube. It's still my fav after all these years.

Me and my Friends got really addicted to Monster Rancher 2 on the ps1...
Trading Cds to find those rare monsters....
Especially Joker and Dragon.... :D
We also got hooked to Crash Bandicoot Racing...

Hmm... I even remember a ps1 game about BeyBlade...
Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!! (Racing) Was one of my favorite games...
And how could i not forget Gundam Battle Assault!!!

It was a shame that my Ps1 suddenly broke... But at that time the Ps2 was already getting popular...
Luckily I now own a Psp which has the ability to emulate Ps1 games... Atleast i could play Chrono Cross on the go... :emh22:

Super Mario 64
I consider it one of the greatest games of all time. Exploring a huge castle with secert rooms, jumping into paintings to go into new worlds! The creativity was breathtaking.

Pokemon Snap
FUNNIEST THING to do when you are extremely bored. I remember me and my friend just cracking up by chucking an apple upside a pikachu's head continously and taking a picture of it.
The game itself was so fun too.

I remember Sonic for the Sega Gen.
Two player mode where one player was Tails.
That game was epic!

All the current FF games give me nostalgia from originally playing FF7 when I was young. I loved that game, the storyline was overwhelming. No games since have captivated me to the same extent. Damn I can remember how upset I was when Aeries died (still feel a little sad now years later lol) I always buy Jrpg games in the hope that the storyline will suppass FF7 however they all fall waay short...
