OS Changes

Hey there Members!!!


As you can see we made some small changes on the home page of OS. The reasoning behind this is that the most important news - like the latest vids uploaded should be the first thing seen as someone drops into OS.

With the same principle, there was a suggestion of whether we should take Miku and her welcome message off as well.

What do you guys think?

Jim will making a few more changes in the coming weeks, so pls post your comments on them as they happen XD

I don't mind these new changes, but please do not remove Miku! (perhpas the message could be updated a bit.. no need to be so modest)
In my mind she has always been the avatar for OS ^^

Hmm if you do take Miku-nee off, are you gonna replace her with something/someone else?, If you do, you should make it have a female & Male anime character (or something no other site has >:D) ^^ (just to be far for the female otaku's out there ^^), {p.s. you know OS isn't filled up with us male members >XD... or at least I hope not >_< *gets attacked by female otakus'}

I kinda like new arrangement XD, still OS is the greatest

Jadaliciousdk - Yes, I also agree, but a certain Admin (wont mention the name) thought Miku was old. I had to use the old female technique (throwing a tantrum) to get it back

Ranmachua : As mentioned in the earlier thread, non members can view the Index / Titles available, but will need to become a member to stream. I think its only fair, with all the work we put in, the least they can do is register :1:

Frankly when I found this site Miku sort of led me in to find out more about this site. All of the other sites that I have been to are all the generic anime stuff like Bleach, Naruto, and Code Geauss or something. Miku makes this site a little more unique and gives that little push for the Browser to check out more about this site. At least it was for me.

Regarding the new interfaces.
There used to be little play buttoms on the "latest upload" chart, so you could jump directly to the video player. After the the overhaul they have vanished :(
Hope to see them back soon they were nice at least for lazy people like me ^^

Concerning Miku, maybe a poll thread could be made featuring both Miku (revamped, or still the way she is), and the new "floating balls of light". That way, both options could be viewed and voted on if you want it to be a democratic decision?

I'm indifferent to any changes that are made (as long as the site remains functional), but others may have differing opinions. Either way, it will still be a great place. :p

Wow ... you never noticed our balls of light??? They are there on the top most banner (the green one with Otaku-streamers name on it) and they will follow your cursor wherever it goes. Very addictive when your bored!! XD

Hahaha - are you on Firefox? If not, try using that and see. If not it could be blocked by "Adblock" or "Noscript" if you using one of those programs.

What the book? howcome?

Its been ages since I read the book, but weren't there these things called wil-o-wisps that either led the guy into the swamp, or out of it? XD. For some reason it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the balls.. :54:

I love confusing them and making them go in opposite directions - its not easy so gives you a goal
