Hmm in the article they said that they would start selling the DVD early 2010...

I like how it says it will take certain scenes and go more in depth.

The article also says that xbox live fans get a preview of it this fall.. @_@

But recently I heard they picked the movie back up.

I cant wait for the Halo anime though. Its going to be awsome.

I actually found and watched the first 5 episodes. It is called Halo Legends. In my opinion it wasn't bad. a few disappointing things, but also a lot of cool and epic things. It is kind of like animatrix style though, but done well. Also the Japanese people who made it have made some good animes like ghost in the shell, FMA, and others. Just google Halo Legends episode 1 and watch it :D

I don`t know.....Looks too "american" for me. Might be good, but really not into watching it.
I didn`t even like the game (no flaming, please, I just didn`t)
Maybe the fans of Halo will like it, I didn`t. Just my opinion.

they were working on it but the funding ended up going to district 9 instead. so the plug didnt get pulled it just got given to someone else :'(

well i watched some of it already, the dvd was out like around last month or 2 ago. It has stories about other spartans, and the history of halo, like the origins of the forerunners. its a must watch for any halo fans, the artwork is very nice, ranging from japanese style anime to 3d like final fantasy series

personally, I think it would be a success and at the same time a fail.. because, I know that the graphics and story would be great but.. there's also a possibility that It will fail since most of the fans will like the game version more.. you know what I mean. like umineko.. It is a great one but the anime didn't sell out very good.. nah. It's just my thoughts.. but I would like to see this for myself..

Ive seen this advertised on Xbox live however I am not sure if it is worth renting? I hate the way any videos brought on xbox live expire after 24hrs - it just does not encourage me to watch anything as I like to be able to pick and choose when I watch...
