OS Celebrates 6 Months and Midsummer Night!!

Once a upon a time - one lone, brave, young otaku stood up and said "I will make Anime freely available to all" He then invited another to become his Second-in-Command and together they both worked feverishly to make this dream a reality. Alas! their first attempt was... well... not so successful. However learning from his mistakes, on his second try he chose a day deep in the darkness of the Winter Solstice when hope was all but lost and this time his endeavour was approved by the Seelie Court and Voila!!! Otaku-Streamers was born!!

Now today - on this magical day of Mid-Summer where the boundaries between the world of magic and mundane grow thin and the unicorns, fairies, elves and goblins join us in watching anime, we celebrate 6 months of existance.

We have had our tough spots with our videos going missing and our site being suspended, but through it all you - our members, stuck by us, so tonight, lets all open a bottle of champagne (uhhh...lets make that Soda for the Under-18's) and drink a toast to OS!!


May we all still be around when our grandchildren are watching anime!!!

I hate to say this but my grandchildren are already watching animes on this site ....

OS in some ways reminds me of the king in Monty Python's Holy Grail that kept building castles that sank into the swamp ... but he was a persistant SOB and was finally able to build one that didn't sink ... let's all hope that OS stays afloat for a long time thanks to all the admins and uploaders efforts ....
