A friend of mine uses Konachan.com... He links me there from time to time, so I know it's rather reliable.

Keep in mind, there are quite a few explicit pics there, so keep that in mind please.

I use anime.desktopnexus.com (www.anime.desktopnexus.com). Pretty large database, and the site allows you to size the wallpaper to want to you monitor resolution before downloading
