I think everyone has it all covered, haha, but might as well add my two cents (which in today's economy isn't very much... meh)

I am thankful for OS being a unique community that has mods and organizers that really work a lot harder maintaining this site than some people I've worked with at real jobs.
Also finding an Anime video site that isn't blocked since "You are not in the target area" or link to 3rd party sites like megavideo and... megavideo is quite amazing.

Though I think I'm most thankful that there is a community here that really enjoys anime but at the same time is friendly and funny enough to make it more fun to use chatbox and read the forums than just streaming video.

A toast to OS, thanks for making the days go by a little easier ;)

Very easy to navigate and very nice Admins (altho one occasionally comes out with some lame jokes and to talk to the other, you need to learn a special language :1:)
But I think the best thing about this site is how nice everyone is, no one swears or says hateful things.... very surprising that even as we get bigger and new people come on, everyone seems to respect each other.

Nice design, perfect streaming method, loads of animeses, polite members, neat chatroom, nice and hard working mods,admins,uploaders&co, monkey emotes XD etc.
Even though the chat thingy refreshes itself about 40sec... it's still amazing this chat has a personal ALL chat o.O.
The forums have everything needed and I love the country flag thing on the homepage ^_^ it would be more easier if you could click on them and the user list of the country poped though o.o

But in OS there is no region requirement or video limit to watch per day..so i can watch anime all day and i like the video quality and the fast streaming in this site..

Initially, the reason I loved OS so much was that unlike most other anime sites I visited, OS used streams rather than links from other sites such as Myspace. Some episodes would work while others could "not be found" on the other sites, meanwhile here everything is all fine unless they're having a minor server problem, which is fine, because I know it'll be back to A-OK in no time.

But once I got into the forums, I discovered I love the community here. It's almost as if I found a second family here. And there aren't any jerks around here that I've noticed, unlike other forums I've been to. (*COUGH* WORLD OF WARCRAFT *COUGH*)

first off its free all they ask for is donations ...
second they have a large verity of anime
third its easy to use
and they don't try and fill your computer with spy-where and viruses

I like OS alot due to the HUGE amount of anime, the great selection tools and the fact that it usually works with no problems. Even when the site was experiencing problems it wasn't down for too long and they kept you up to date on the issues and progress during the repairs.

Yeah, I agree with Zen...

Other sites like animeseason.com, or animefreak.tv now depends upon MySpace, or MegaVideo for their animes...compared to OS who has its own flash player...

and besides, here in OS, there are many things you can do other than streaming. You can make friends, post in the forums, or even make a blog

Ahhhh yes NO ADS !! AND DEDICATED FLASH PLAYER. . . how could I have left that out? That was one of the first things that drew me into this site. Just another thing to enjoy about this site.

I also noticed that the donations are almost always completed well before the month ends..which equals a devoted following. Thankfully its donations and not demands to pay money to enjoy the site.

Initially, the reason I loved OS so much was that unlike most other anime sites I visited, OS used streams rather than links from other sites such as Myspace. Some episodes would work while others could "not be found" on the other sites, meanwhile here everything is all fine unless they're having a minor server problem, which is fine, because I know it'll be back to A-OK in no time.

But once I got into the forums, I discovered I love the community here. It's almost as if I found a second family here. And there aren't any jerks around here that I've noticed, unlike other forums I've been to. (*COUGH* WORLD OF WARCRAFT *COUGH*)
This one pretty much sums it up.

First thing is that they stream from their own server, and not from silly links that other sites uses. And when we report a broken video, they ACTUALLY look into it and respond. Best. Service. EVER!

The community is GREAT! People are nice and I have yet do see an a-hole bitching about anything.

Well besides the FREE anime streams, the forum is what mainly attracts me to this place.
I've had accounts in dozens of bloging and forum sites but for some unknown reason (Seriously, I don't know why) I stick to this place.
Maybe it's due to the feature of being an anime-streaming site and the fairly awesome staff and members, I can't really put my finer on it but I have all the time I need to figure it out since I'm not leaving this site anytime soon (I hope .. -.-').
