The game is on its way to completion. And it is undergoing the final tests before we officially launch the server. With regards to your questions :

- Where to download that RO from? : The download link for the server will soon be available once the final tests have been done. If you're a new player without ragnarok installed on your computer, you can download this complete package of ragnarok so that you won't experience errors upon downloading the final installer of OsRO. Check this link : http://miruku.rathena.org/

- Do we have to download the game and if yes .. is this another version or patch or what? : Yes, you have to download the game in order to play it :swt: . And yes, it's another version as some would quote it as a " private server ".

- Do we just use our OS's usernames or do we have to register somewhere?
If we have to register where do we register? : Nope, you will be registering a different username/password for this game and it will be having a different website as well in order for players to access the game.

- Who will be the GMs inside the game or it'll be the same mods here in the websites? : The GM's will be announced once everything is set and of course, the GM crew answer you are looking for is in Jbluey's hands. :=D:

ic try runing setup.exe (located on your RO folder) then choose which 3d device is suited for it.

try running osRO_patcher again. i have added the setup.exe .. so before you lcick start game. run setup.exe 1st.

How about remove the RO in your computer and RE INSTALLING them again, maybe some of the files are added and mixed up that is not fitted to the RO you have right now... JUST a suggestion :D

Hey, vaikepois! I've experienced the same error before and solved it by reinstalling Ragray on a new folder, then installing the OsRO patch. Hope that solves your problem :)

This is a common problem on most windows vista/7 users. So, the best remedy for this is really to reinstall ragray on a new folder hahah :))

Ahahahah, sorry. Ragray is the korean ragnarok. I'm using that since OsRO needs a primary data to run properly. In the installation instructions, you can see that we require 1st time ragnarok players to download the Miruku Ragray in order for players not to experience the errors other players are experiencing right now :) To summarize that,
Installation Instruction is as follows:
1. If you're a first time ragnarok player, please check out this link
- http://miruku.rathena.org/
( You can either download the 7 parts or go for torrent which I recommend )
- Mirror 1 : http://www.mediafire.com/?n3mpmy2f0d7pk
( 10-part download )
2. After downloading #1, install it on an empty folder.
3. Proceed to downloading OsRO Lite which can be found here
- Mirror 1: http://osrocp.otaku-streamers.com/osRO_Lite.rar
- Mirror 2: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0UBUCLJS
4. Then, extract the OsRO files onto the same folder where you installed the miruku package.
5. Run OsRO_Patcher, it should patch up some files.
6. After which, you can now press ' Start Game '.

Additional Notes:
If you're a Windows 7/Vista User, you might want to right-click the client and choose ' Run As Administrator '. ( Just in case nothing happens after you click Start Game ).

Yes, you can download the lite installer instead. But, just be sure your previous RO Client is up-to-date :D Based on your specs, yes nothing seems wrong and ragnarok will run properly from the specs you just mentioned :D Since you're a vista user, you can try pressing right-click on the client and choose ' Run as Administrator '.

> Yes you can use it but if the version should be at least EP14.1 client. not sure how to know what version it is. but its around june or july 2011 client. if you dont want to risk you client try making a backup 1st. then extract osRO. and see if it wont break ur ro client.

It seems to me like you only extracted OsRO Lite on a new folder without the full Miruku package, correct? Since your error seems to be looking for binkw32.dll which can only be found when you have successfully installed the Miruku package indicated at http://osrocp.otaku-streamers.com :)

Hmm, it'll turn english once you install and patch up OsRO :) Your ragnarok is in korean probably because you have a data folder wherein the language type is set to korean. :)

Hmm, have you tried patching already? Try running it from the Osro Patcher :)

Yep. NO OverPowered Items, and ill integrate it on OS database. all donations goes to OS and will be converted into cash points on osRO.

Next is you extract the osRO-lite into the folder miruku was installed in (when you install miruku it will ask for a folder to install into, just use what is shown and remember the folder location for this step). once osRO is there make sure you goto osRO-patcher and use it, once it has patched click on osRO.exe and you can play! (if osRO.exe is NOT in same folder as Miruku files the game will say binkw32.dll is missing) [plz note that having it in the exact same location as the RO.exe client is imperative]
I hope this helped out in some way. =D

No, It doesn't mean it that way. It means that there are Filipino players and the GM's (Gamemaster) can understand that Language. Any player from any country are welcome to play osRO.

You can also see that the "Main Language" Say it in English (British Flag).

Since I didn't see anyone that answered you here's the answer:
You need to download RO's game, osRO's Client is only additional patch for OS

-Go to this link: http://osrocp.otaku-streamers.com/
-Look at the bottom of that home page
-You'll need to download both of the links
-Run the first .rar (first part) for RO's original file to install the game
-Extract osRO inside the file that have the game (The one that should be inside Program Files that is called "Miruku")
-Run "osRO_patcher.exe"

Note: You can always run osRO_patcher.exe to play the game as it will guarantee that your patch is the latest.

Since you have Philippine Ragnarok Online installed on your system, you just need to download this one:

After that, you can extract it inside Philippine Ragnarok Online's folder then run OsRO Patcher. :)

I believe you only have OsRO on that folder, you have to move the OsRO files to the full ragnarok folder. You'll be able to identify the correct folder when you find ' data.grf ' inside it :D

If it's any higher, then u can kill anyone solo. It's sad to say. these rates are for solo players.. U can take an entire 99/70 guild by urself if you're level 250+. solo. MMORPG's are meant to be played or enjoyed by groups of people "together", make friends, and etc. Gah! Nuff talking.. I still wish the rates are LOW. so we can appreciate little things and everything in the game. If the rates are high. then we only just go straight to the big ones.. It's not exactly fun (for me). 99 stats? your kidding me right?

Max stats is 150 since the Max level will be lowered around 180-200. The instant cast is already at 170 Dex to make it more balanced, so to get instant cast you need buffs and probably some Dex Gear.

Having 99 stats wouldn't make a server just perfectly balanced, besides this server is a Mid rate not a Low Rate server.. Low rate server tends to have 99/70 max level and 99 max stats.

The rate is too low for the max level? Well I kinda agree with that, 500/500 or higher is a considered as a Highrate server. So if we increase the rating, we will also increase the max level. Also we are already considering of lowering the Max level to 180 - 200 since 255 is a too high. This changes will soon happen this week during the Beta testing.

The max level will be changed to level 180 to 200 but the Rates will stay the same, This game wont be a SOLO type game, it will be a Group based game since we are going to balance the Items, PVP and also MVP. This balancing will prevent alot of " QQ'ing in PVP or WoE or MVP Hunting ".
The server rating will stay as 70/70/25% (15% mvp).

As you know, this only a Beta Testing. So we are already doing many change's to the server regarding to the NPC, Rates, Items and Quest. We are also thinking of adding 3rd Class after the Beta test but they their skills will be disabled on PVP, WoE and MVP Maps since at the moment their skills are inbalanced regarding to the Official Ragnarok Online.. So you can only use the 3rd class for looks, leveling or something.

If you people are going on about balance and you have increased max level, you have NO idea of how Ragnarok online works at all. I'm a long time player and I know Ragnarok has it's balance issues, but increased max stats and levels only deteriorate that, by a lot.
Just because a server is mid-rate, it doesn't mean it needs increased max levels, I don't think any server should, to be honest, unless it's one of those ridiculous high rates.
You guys should consider making the servers 99 max level and putting stats back to 99 max. If you really want a community game, then you most certainly will want that, reason is simple, as stated above by minakoroland, having ultra high stats and levels empowers one enough to do pretty much anything in the game by themselves. A lot of people tend to stay away from increased max level servers because they're ridiculous, I have many friends who would love to join if not for that, there's no real positive to having increased caps.

Also, most certainly 3rd jobs are a balance issue as well so I don't think they should be around yet.

Lol you guys worry too much regarding to that stats points and max level, We are still on Beta testing and Like i said, This game will be more TEAM BASED not Solo and ****** or w.e Since Im more a Fan of Team based gameplay not solo since its 100% boring.. Like i said, We will do alot of balancing on the stats points.

Since the max lvl will be reduce to 180 or 200 and max stats will be at 150. So we already balanced the Instant cast? so whats next, Well the Cast Delays currently focused on Agi, so if you want to became a TSS champ, you need a balanced Agi, Str and Dex to get it instant, and high dmg. Its all about calculation on your stats not just maxing everything. The Stats point based system will be balanced and enough to get atleast 2 150 stats, thats it. We will also need to check about the Perfect Dodge and so on.

Also MVP'ing here can't be solo once we released it, Since We will be balancing those MVP to match the current rate system of the server, also the MVP maps will have PVP enabled so instead of people solo'ing and camping it, you can kill the players and steal their MVP. Then those MVP will be bit different, We WILL going to make MVP's non-solo'able.

Dungeons and Instance will be the same as that one, we will make everything balanced and matched the current aspect of the server rating.
It just require time and patience to do this balancing. I have already experienced a midrate server with max lvl of 170 with a great population and awesome WoE, which contains alot of competitions.

Well i think it's nuff said. But if improvements needs time, i'll still wish that someday, they'll reconsider making a low rate game. I came from a server with 7/7/5 rates and it has wonderful population and community, they don't have donation items that makes you godlike but donators are still helping full scale even if they don't get anything "That" special. and they're motto is to play a p.server just like playing an official server but for free, its just the GM made unnecessary actions during woe and it made people mad and it destroyed the server, but i still see donators lurking in their forums waiting for the server to get back up again. sadly, it wont get back, so all those people scattered around like dragon balls looking for a great server that can match that one.. as for osRO, whatever the rates, whatever the rules, if it's with you guys i'm playing with? then Rok On! I don't need reasons or a perfect server just playing with everyone else or chatting with everyone realtime (not in shoutbox) will make it worth your while. Hehehe!
