Do anyone know a good online web majhong game?

It is so hard to find anyone who plays mahjong in my country, so sitting down and having and actual game well it rarely happens..

Naturally I'm talking about the actual game not the solitaire :emhh21: ;)

Search this up on google, Emahjong. You wont see a lot of people, but I guess you can always play with comps! You can arrange tables with people. You wont find a lot of people online as well. You wont even find a table filled or any table with anybody. You can use it to play though, all types of mahjong i believe.

Can someone also suggest me a place or website I can order a Mahjong Riichi Set? I live in BC Burnaby.. If there's also a website with public mahjong riichi can you also suggest me some as well!? Thank you!

They are worth getting into, once you get the hang of the game it is really funny :) Luck is a factor but skill is difinetly also, also the anime saki gets another dimension :22:

If you want to learn the mahjong rules http://www.emahjong.net/gamerules-riichi.shtml.
There are many different rules set for majhong, the one in the link is called Riichi and is the one used in the anime Saki. It is also one of the better rule sets in my opinion.

It looks hella confusing to play especially since all the words sound similar, i.e. Kong, Pong, Haiman, Taiman (sp?).

We can all play Riichi or any type of mahjong online. This website(www.emahjong.net) has rules. So I suggest you review them. After that you can go to the practice. You'll see the what I mean when you finish installing it. There's practice for any type of Mahjong. Add my MSN if you would like to play. I live in Pacific Time (US/CA). I welcome anybody to this game. In any level, I will play with you. As long as I'm not busy of course. Anyways good luck learning!!

mikko-sramon@hotmail.com, when you add me, message me and say, "I'm from Otaku-Streamers, "name"" So I know you're from here. okay?! cool

Real-life mahjong. I have no idea how to record the score, but i know how to play and have fun. Haha, as long as its not betting, no need for points right? but its always fun to do so. I hope to learn it asap so I can share with friends and family.

I found that downloading the program called "Four Winds" is better if you want to learn the game.. you can custimize the rules so they fit excatly the riichi rule-set used in your region.
Futhermore the way emahjongnet calculates points is wrong a lot of the time and the computer AI isn't very intelligent (if you can't find any games)
It is also possible to play online games using Four Winds.
The only downside I have found so far is that it cost money to get a full version of Four Winds, unless you follow the instructions below :emhh04:

http://www.brothersoft.com/four-winds-mah-jong-16346.html download the evaluation copy here.

To get the serial key that unlocks the full version
http://www.serialportal.com/serial.php?im=31861 (]http://www.serialportal.com/serial.php?im=31861[/URL] click get serial and copy the serial key into the game to unlock the full content.

If you want to learn the rules here is a link to the official european riichi ruleset, it is pretty straight forward and easy to understand.

Are you serious?! I never knew that.. Yeah I tried that four winds, but couldn't get full version. Now that you've mentioned a way to bypass it I'll try it now.
