OS is going to upgrade~

Otaku-Streamers Decided To UPGRADE!

After experiencing 3 whole days of downtime due to excessive bandwidth/CPU usage. I decided to optimize the scripts, but still our host is complaining as the usage has only dropped a bit.

Therefore we decided to proceed with our upgrade. We will start transferring the files to our upgraded server tomorrow and you might experience some lag/downtime during these times

There are two reasons why we need to upgrade :
- To prevent site from going offline. again
- And to give our members a hell of a streaming site .

To answer all your questions
1) Yes, the chat will be back - latest by the weekend.

2) Yes, this will mean no more downtime for the main site. There may however be sporadic instances of the video hosts shutting down or giving us trouble occasionally, but it will only be a few titles at a time that will be inaccessible

3) Jade : As always - thank you for being the voice of reason. Yes, this upgrade is going to cost us a heap more every month and we are now 100% dependent on our kind donators. We have scrapped the bottom of the barrel plus thrown in our own finances to make this upgrade and that too for only 3 months. If we dont get the required amount every month we will need to place adverts, which both Jim and Chiva would rather die than see. However since I am the financial adviser (self promoted), I would rather have the adverts than shut the site down

4) Irishmonkey - there should be no reason why you cannot access all our videos, as we do not have any regional block or any pre-requirement to stream other than becoming a member. I suggest you post your problem on the appropriate site and we will try to attend to it asap. However this may take some time as our Admins are a bit busy right now

The only help we need from our members right now, is your patience in the next few days. If there are functions that cannot be accessed or broken vids, we wont be able to attend to it immediately as Jim and Chiva are working 24/7 for the upgrade and unfortunately my IT knowledge can be fitted on a pin head :1:

Right now OS radio is down because the host is down and so no one is able to access at present. Once we are upgraded, we will try and integrate it on our new host as well. There is a lot that needs to be done - appreciate your patience :1:

patience is my strongest virtue. i can wait if it will be improved coz i really love the radio but i cant listen to the music coz the bandwidth here in the cafe is super slow T______T so im suggesting about making the songs just like the streaming thing that we will just choose the song we want to listen..but i noe hardwork should be done..... an I.T. like makes me feel the same thing coz im an I.T. too and its really hard by the way thanks for understanding.....
